im gonna take issue with this one....walk around certain areas of ottawa, torronto...or even cornwall or brockville for that matter...hammilton is a relatively nice area...i could say the u.s. is a safe place based on the area i live in too but go a couple hours south in some areas and you take your life in your hands....the problem with the whole "ban guns" philosophy is that its too idealistic...guns exist....their here....it's impossible...ban them in this country ...criminals will get them from somewhere else.....how on her ladies green earth do you round up all the guns on the planet? Im all for better eduacation on them....proper use to avoid accidents...and tough on crime type policies to cut down the number of guns used illeagaly. "ban guns" is one of those "feel good" things....sounds great...makes ppl feel good about them selves...but acomplishes nothing
I'm currently heavily involved with someone on this site as the regulars know....we have been together for over 7 months now(....wow) we see each other regularly...know each others families now...she is best friends with my daughters...i stay up at her place...she stays at mine and plans on moving to the states soon...soooo.....yes....keep trying....this does work
basicly....their headquarters are on our soil in N.Y. we fund 20% of their needs....they constantlly tell us how bad we are as a nation...if we go to them for help, we hit brick walls....and they actively sympathize with ppl like iran, syria, north korea etc.

your right...we dont need them...i personaly dont even recognize them....ill put it this way.... lets say you let someone move in to your home.....you pay 20% of their bills and give them some manpower as well.....now lets say this same guest openlu insults you in your own living room...tells you how to run your home.....tells you you dont do enough to help them....makes friends with and aids your enemies...and when you ask them to do dishes or help in some way they refuse....you'd probably throw them out right?
first of all...im amazed at the amount of ppl who DONT live or vote here who have such articulated opinions of our government. simple....dont like it....move here and vote. ill quote gene simmons (yes...the dude from kiss) when you walk in a tough neighborhood.....you dont want a french poodle with you...you want a rotweiler...and sometimes rotweilers do things like bite your kids or crap on your floor but a french poodle isnt going to stop you from being mugged. radicle islam is not just a u.s./ isreal problem.....you here of cells in alot of countries now plotting that countries demise everyday...canada....CANADA......whay could anyone want to hurt canada you ask?,.,,,they dont stick their noses in places militarily too much...save for afganistan....hats off to em for their help there...thank you very much in all sincerety to the nation of canada. well....so why?...simple...they're not islamic....period...that is all one needs to be a target of these finatics....no amount of niceness is going to keep these ppl from killing
ok....my thoughts...... it is a sad event....terrible it had to come to this. that being said......i live with bears, got the things everywhere. they can eventualy become much more than a nuisence, especialy durring spring. bears are scavengers by nature, not preditors, if they are taking sheep then they are getting to bold. and further, once they lose their fear of humans it opens doors to much bigger tragedy. trapping and relocating does not generaly work well because the bear will travel hundreds of miles to return to a spot it had it good in, happens all the time. sorry to see it happen though
actualy my gf wants to move here to the states where did u cross? the agents in newport/derby line run extremes....there are the ones that know me cuz im a regular and say something like "comming back from your girlfriends mr donovan? still need to see your ID"...then theres the nazzi who is convinced im a smuggler.
