ok...to all those anxiously awaitong news on my trip to ontario....IM BACK!!!! the drive up: first time in 25 yrs crossing the border i was ever held up in customs....just my lucky day....random check...so when asked about my purpose i explained...they then wanted to contact HER to verify it....jeese....for her protection i would assume...i must say they were very polite and friendly about it though....i hit montreal at rush hour...ugh...got lost in montreal...found my way...got to btockville...got lost AGAIN. finaly arrived at tim hortons where we were suposeed to meet... I walked in...she didnt see me (she was reading a book) so i sat down opsite her and simply said "excuse me miss..is this seat taken?"...she looked up smiled..we hugged..kissed and proceeded imedialty with conversation over coffee like we had been seeing each other all along, very natural...no un comfortable awkward moment or anything...very natural..we spent the weekend in kingston (availabliity of affordable hotel rooms) wandering around exploring a bit...went out to dinner one night...and spent alot of time in the room talking and enjoying each others company....there was no difference between our relationship on the phone and in person...no difference between the "phone amanda" and the "in person amanda" So in short...this will continue...i can say honestly that this weekend has seriously developed the feelings we were already starting to have for each other.....she is everything i thought and then some...FANTASTIC lady...alot of fun..open honest, very warm, very much herself and makes no apologies for it, and evev just the way she looks at me was so very special to me. O the way home i got held up in snow for the day after leaving at 3 am this morning...finaly made it back in one piece....worth every agonizing mile....now we have mad plans for her to come here in a few weeks to meet my daughters who she has already developed a remarkable repitoir with thank you to all of my friends for your well wishing kind thoughts and prayers. YAAAAAAAAAAAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
too late...lol...i already have it...just waiting for the first unsuspecting female to wander in thanx for the compliments anyway....yer a decent guy too...true gentlmen like us (yes i really am one..lol) are getting fewer and fewer

I started on "optichat" about 14 yrs ago, my wife was the first one one...her nick was "kay"....i didnt have one so her friends just refered to me as "xman" after gettin to know a few ppl in there, there was a running "rastafarian" themed joke so it became xmaHn.....later after getting on irc and endurring many jokes about the comic strip x-men and several times being asked if it meant FORMER MAN...i changed it to x-factor....i then re-introduced the caribian accent to it forming the now trademarked "xfahctor" pffffffft 'eare mahn...smook dis ahn everytin be alree

R-E-L-A-X if youve been talking a bit with them, then just go with the flow and let it come naturaly, like you've meeting all along. the first 3 minutes are the hardest, everything after that is absolutely grand

yeh, its a common thought on the net that it is cold and impersonal...people who say that have never met someone special enough on it yet, after all, you dont fall in love with everyone you meet in a bar or on the street so nor are you going to on here. I was of the same opinion a while ago untill I met someone....so now here I am again giving it another go, and once again, developing some very strong feelings for someone ive never met face to face, and from experience, that first meet is absolutely DELICIOUS when it does happen.
