I think the only ones making money on it is hollywood actualy. Hi, first of all I want to thank everyone who expressed their thoughts for my nation and people. I also want to thank those of you to the north who housed and cared for my fellow americans stranded up there in the after math...particualrly in NL and NS, the kindness and hospitality will never be forgotten and can naver be repayed in propper measure. I would also like to say that this was indeed an international tragedy, 27 countries lost people on that day....including canada who lost 24 people...my sympathies to thos families. This is indeed an international problem. The ideals that begat that day are borderless and I fear its a matter of time before another nation has its own "9/11"
Ive been known to walk down main street smokin one... wave to the cops as they go by (I know most of them anyway) .....think about it... their gonna look into someone hidin in the bushes but prolly not gonna imagine someone walking through town waving to them with a joint in their hand..... most obvious is least obvious

There are people out there hwo see nutreality in itself as choosing sides.....these are the people who you cant ignore....you put down your arms to your side and they will continue to hit you in the face anyways
to draw a distinction: in order to be a peace keeper, there needs to be a peace to keep. Right now, although things are FAR better than they were, there is not yet peace in afganistan, so right now, you are peace MAKERS... I for one applaud your nation for taking a stand and doing what it (and i) feel is the right thing for your future benifit and indeed the long term benifit of the world at large
I guess it depends on what the "right thing" is. I suppose if a leader takes a stand to do what they feel is the right thing for their nation in the face of world opinion this makes them a strong leader. The 2 are almost interchangable.
Well, I came on single, got hooked up, but in the proccess made some great friends and had a wonderfull time. So, My profile indicates im taken and i stuck around for the friends I made...the conversation and the laughs
Before I started traveling up there I had some some misconceptions about it and the inhabitants. I wasnt really sure what truly defined the Canadian culture. One of the things that now stands out for admiration now is what seems to be the inate ability to laugh at yourselves and at life itself. We as americans seem to take ourselves too seriously sometimes and I think we can learn a lesson from you
I dont believe in "God" as he/she is traditionaly defined, but I do believe that science proves more and more the existance of some-thing beyond ourselves. Reading the bible, and matching what we now know today of the world, mant of the stories are made quite plausible. It also demonstrates that many of the places and people it speaks of existed.
damn....does this mean I gotta stay out of political threads? I'll admit, i get testy sometimes and let my emotions get the best of me instead of just tackling issues logicly....I try very hard not to get nasty or personal and I would hope thst if I do that my friends here will call me on it and point it out.
