well in Spain they take both - the last namr of the mother and that of the father in France if the father does not show up and 'recognizes' the child as his, even if married to the mother, the child automatically gets the mother's last name.

Yes redflag for catching a fake or a scammer. I get suspicious when I see the profile photo of someone as black as coal claiming to be a NATIVE AMERICAN from FLORIDA, CALIFORNIA or NEW YORK, TEXAS.
Looking at a profile does not necessarily mean one is interested, I often do it out of curiosity - men who viewed me, forum posters. I don't view someone's profile because I am interested.
Hey, such is life. We have preferences and we go for what we like unless one is being forced to. but you don't want a woman who is 55 years old either so she maybe feels unwanted too. There are might be men here on CS who are not interested in ME or someone like me for whatever reason and through no fault of mine but hey I accept it and move on.
In one of the threads here someone mentioned that he prefers Asian women, no other race. It's not easy to meet people and have relationships when one is no longer young or in one's 20s or 30s. Women in the age group that you might be interested in may not be looking; married or in a relationship etc., etc.,
There have been men here on CS who have gone all the way to Asia from the US, Europe, Australia or even Canada to meet women and even marry them so it can happen getting together with someone from the west when one is from south Asia, who knows. It can happen, just be patient and good luck.
I am not even interested in people in my local area. I immigrated to Canada from Europe and I like the European lifestyle, nowhere else. In Belgium, I dated someone originally from Australia so I like people from down under too, even tho I am not moving down there.
according to your profile you are interested in women between the ages of 30 to 48. why not 19 to 99? 30 to 48 is your preference and you have every right to prefer that age group just like other CS members have every right NOT to want contact with people from certain countries, including ASIA. that's their preference
I have blocked out most countries. I AM NOTtarring people from those countries with the same brush or labelling them as scammers. I just don't want contact with anyone from those countries, especially ASIA and NORTH AMERICA. That's my PREFERENCE and my choice. It's going to remain that way. I want my peace of mind and I have now. I don't want to spend my time blocking and deleting unwanted mail all the time. In addition to this I DON'T want to spend my time figuring out who is a scammer or not, whether it is rocket scence or not.
