Driver is stuck in traffic jam on the M50. Nothing is moving. Suddenly a garda knocks on the window. Driver asks whats going on? Garda replies that pensioners have kidnapped Brian Cowen, Brian Lenihan, Mary Harney & a bunch of bankers. They want 30million ransom or they are going to douse them in petrol and set them alight. We are going from car to car taking a collection. Driver asks how much everyone is giving? Garda replies...about a gallon!!!
Ah its just makin me feel sad to hear that some people are gonna be spending Christmas all on their own. Thankfully I wont be...but its still upsettin to hear that some people will be. Dont mind me...just havin an off day...and this thread aint helpin!
Reading this thread has had a wierd effect on me today tbh. I realise I'm lucky to have my family around me. Both my parents are alive and well TG. Have 2 fab sisters and a great brother as well as a beautiful new niece and nephew too! But...just cant help dreading the future when my parents arent around...and the possibility of being alone...and this has set me off. Am getting through the kleenex thick and fast here! Anyway...for now I'll just continue to realise how lucky I am.... Carpe Diem and all that!
1 thing I've learned is to always chat on the phone to the person before you meet them!! At least that way you know if you can at least have a decent conversation and sure thats half the battle! JMO
85 smacks Leisure so not too bad TG! That'd be about 73gbp give or take!! As Snowpatrol rightly suggested the tail light was leaking. Also..the rear window washer not working so was contributing to the water too! It'll take a few weeks for it to dry out fully but just glad its done and dusted now! Cheers for all your advise folks!!
Ah thanks Prim...but I think I've kinda described it the best way I can at this stage! I'll leave it to the mechanic tomorrow to figure it out me thinks!!
