Just watching england and algeria I laughed my socks off at the pigeon perched on the algerian goalpost He had a birdseye view of the game and it didnt cost a penny
My mistake , i missed the first part of where you were saying you used skype
The only reason i started using it is because the person that introduced me to network marketing recommended it, saying it was the best for conference calling etc
So i just stuck to it
I have never had a problem with using it, except it does take up a chunk of memory and can slow the pc down a bit,but i dont know if this happens with msn etc as i have never tried it
You can also buy a skype phone now and call others without going through the pc , it works like a normal hands free phone, and they are a lot cheaper than they used to be
Hi Mindful Here is the link to skype, and for all the others who have contacted me and asked how to get onto it, although you can just google it and you might find a better link I googled it and it came up in spanish as i am in spain, but i changed the language to english (see this on the first page) I dont know if it is better than MSN or Yahoo messenger but i think it is easier to use and very clear most of the time If you follow the step by step installation procedure it shouldnt take longer than a few minutes you will to choose an ID, and people key this in when they want to call you You then save it to favourites and if the favourite calls you get a distinct sound coming through your pc speakers and just press answer to speak If you have allowed webcam you will also see them on this and they you automatically Its free between skype users to make calls each other anywhere in the world, but if you call a mobile or premium number they have small charges for this, and you can buy credit for this purpose I never buy credit now as i only call other skype users
I hope this helps, but they explain it better in the tutorial when you start
I remember when i was at school many years ago we were told to make football rattles in woodwork Basically you span the handle and a slat of wood hit a rotating wooden cog It made a hell of a racket These were popular in the late 50's and early 60's in the uk But you dont see them being used now Probably because of noise pollusion and health and safety If you hit someone on the head with one as you spun it around you would have knocked them out
Just an update on the vuvuzelas They are importing them to the uk But it said on the news the FA might not allow them at matches I wouldnt like to be there if someone starts blowing one down a scousers ear at a liverpool match They'd be blowing it out from where the sun doesnt shine
It is similar to champagne, and fermented the same way ,but without using champagne grapes Try the pink cava if they have it But make sure they dont charge you the champagne prices
Hi Laura I wasnt really having a go at your spelling,i genuinely thought thats how it was spelt there I know many words in the USA are spelt different than the uk etc In fact the USA way sometimes makes more sense than ours
But it makes me laugh that people pay extremely high prices for champagne The french must be laughing all the way to the bank
They even measured how bad the recession was in the uk by how much champagne had been bought over the year
Give me a good bottle of cava anyday And its only a few euros here in spain
Is that the way its spelt in the USA ? The french would be turning in their graves
We spell it champagne
I think its very pretentious
I prefer cava
There was a tasting on tv a few weeks ago and the so called "experts" were given both champagne and cava from unlabelled bottles 3 out of 4 picked the cava as their favourite
BAN THOSE VUVUZELAS !!
Like itI would gladly put up with the noise from the vuv than the irritating drone from her gob
