It is the Atheist with the chip on their shoulder, hence this thread. I just wonder why it is so important for them for me to not believe.

Why is it when atheists explain they think they have something important to say, but when Christians do it they are holier than thou?

I would put a picture up if I wasn't search for a job. I don't want an Atheist to exclude me from a job because just because I say I'm a Christian, and you know it happens they are just more subtle about it.

Like I said, it is almost impossible to convince an atheist of Christ's love. As long as there is life, there is hope. Time is running out. There were several prophecies about current events.

1. Jewish nation - 1948
2. The United Nations
3. Word of God being preached throughout all the nations

and others. I can't think anymore without sleep.

Ok, now I'm going to sleep. As for the "believer bashers," quit being so smug about your own intellect. I have my beliefs just as you have your beliefs. That doesn't make you better or more informed. There are many things in science that still need to be proved.

So this is why I would never date an atheist. There is no common ground. It's like water and fire. We could go back and forth until the cows come home and neither side would budge. Like I said, I'm going to be spending some time doing some research. I've read the bible, and compared that with some history, but maybe I should did a little deeper. It does amaze me when I read the bible and see it unfold with current events.

I believe all the people before Christ's death who believe in his coming will be in heaven as well. Maybe many Sumerians.

The Bible is a collection of different books. These books were written by different men who lived at different times. The first five books of the Old Testament (called the Pentateuch) were written by Moses. He lived about 1,500 years before Jesus was born. John wrote the last book of the New Testament (Revelation). Most scholars believe that he had finished this book by about 96 A.D. The time from when Moses wrote the Pentateuch until John completed Revelation is about 1,600 years.

I believe the crusades started because the Persians were taking over some land and the Europeans were threatened by it. I read it a long time ago, so I don't remember all the details. How the Vatican was built? Haven't a clue. The bible was not written in 340 A.D. it was written by several authors over quite a period of time. The bible doesn't say how old the earth is. I don't take the 7 days literally. There is a scripture in the bible that says a day is like a thousand years to the Lord.

If you look around you, everything has its opposite. I belive there is a Heaven and a Hell. The devil was the angel of light at one time. I don't think he looks like I thought I seen him on CS.

I've read his book on the Orgins of Species. If fact I have a really nice leather copy of it. I don't doubt that things do adapt to their environment, but I don't think a dog will turn into a cat or a monkey into a human.
