I was watching on the evening news about a house for sale in Mercer Island, WA. It was origionally going for 40 million dollars, and now you can "get it for a song," at 15 million dollars. The home sits on two acres and the home itself is 23,000 sq feet.
Then there is the Aaron & Candy Spelling home for sale at 150 million dollars in Beverly Hills, CA. It is 56,500 feet. Aaron Spelling was the late legendary TV producer.
The question is: How Big is Too Big? I always here people say "I wouln't want to clean it." If you could afford a home this big would you buy it? I think it would be fun to live in for a week or two, but I don't know about long-term. What are your thought?
I took a taxi ride once and the guy was a drunk. He almost sideswiped a car. I was going to do a round trip, but I took a one-way with him, then I called another cab.
I like Ghost also. I have book title The Time of My Life that Patrick wrote before he died. He was a real trooper. I also like Pirates of the Caribbean. I prefer the first one. Johnny Depp is sure an interesting character.
I like the dracula one with Bela Lugosi. I remember as a kid watching Dark Shadows with Barnabas Collins. My mother use to get after us kids for watching it, but it was fun.

Try not letting them get to you. It is not a permanent state. The worst thing to do is loose faith and give up hope. I always feel I had a job before and I will find another one. Try to stay positive and just keep looking something will turn up.
You are. I was surprised to learn that the garbage collectors here in the Seattle area who earn $75 an hour went on strike. I really think they are nuts. This is not a good time for strikes. I guess applications for temporary workers were in the thousands. I was tempted to apply, but I don't think I would be able to lift the big garbage cans, darn.
Well, people can say that they achieved success by getting out there and kicking butt, but have they done that lately? That doesn't mean you should give up. Its tough out there and it can take time. I've worked ever since I was 13 and have always taken pride in working hard, but now I find myself unemployed. I didn't think I would be one of them.
I agree. If you have lots of connections you get the jobs. Take for example many childhood stars, they got the job because either their mother or father worked in the industry.
Also, the unemployment is different in each country and various by region. This is the worst its been since the Great Depression. From what I heard 1 out of every 10 Americans are unemployed. Sure, people should get out there and pound the payment, but it's an uphill battle. It takes time.
The problem with taking a lesser paying job is that it might not pay the current mortgage in addition to normal expenses such as food, gas, heat, phone etc. You would then need to sell the house, good luck with that, to be able to afford live on the lower wage jobs. If a person makes close to what they were making on unemployment, does it make sense to take a lesser paying job or keep looking until they find something close to what they were making?

They seem like it. I heard there were problems between Tory and her mother, although you can't always believe the tabloids.I always wondered if you lost something in that house if you would ever find it again. It seems like I am always looking for my checkbook.
