I've experienced that too, but I usually meet for coffee on blinds dates. That way I can make a quick exit if needed.
I know of a lady who is quite overweight and she often does not tell the truth. She says guys are shallow. I believe she feels that if they meet then maybe they will give her a chance once they get to know her. I tried to explain to her that people will not appreciate being lied to, but to her it was the only way. I feel it is a waste of time.
That is true, but why would I want to discuss my personal beliefs if I am called "stupid" like in the last forum. This person was not interested in learning anything. It really makes it hard when you want to talk to the people who really do want to have a better understanding.
I don't think the topic was on christian's nature. I agree, many christians do not act very christian like. I just feel the threads have become a combat zone and not a true exchange of information. I just have a hard time discussing anything where there are name calling and mocking. That is not a true forum for learning. This goes for either side.
I agree. That is why I am wondering are they asking because they hunger for the answers, or is this just another argument. The answer I get is that it is their right to question.
