In 2008 Mexicans in USA sent 25,145 millions of USD to their Mexican Families from their working in the States and after paying their taxes if they were legally hired. Many are not but it takes both the American who hires them ilegally and the ilegal immigrants.
On the other hand there are many American companies here in Mexico and after paying their taxes, their profits go either to USA or another countries for investments. Some of the biggest companies for extracting the oil from the gulf of Mexico are American and they make big profits too.
Immigrants should always be welcome and they must be legal and adapt to the country and culture that is receiving them.
I have met people from several countries (I have lived at the States for 5 yr) but I could not make an statement that the people from X country are arrogant not even for Argentines because I have friends from Argentina that are wonderful people.
Why Americans? Is it Americans or because of their foreign policies? Have you been at the States? How many americans have you met in and out your country?
Doing the right think fits both men and woman. We all have those little inconvenients but not an issue really besides there are 1000's to choose from or to be chosen.
