RE: Australia Day

Because we need to create the conditions for it.

A few years back, I did attend a work meeting in another state and it was about "Rural women" and their opportunities to develop their own business, small and not to small. The women that attended from the state that I was at I said to them that they did not look any "rural", they were successful women one was very blond/green eyes and the others had all the gadgets that anyone in NY has laugh but they live in rural areas and have done a productive-wonderful work to the extend that they make more than their husbands (and that can be a problem).

In that meeting, there was a politician native woman that had made it to the upper house wow she did speak her native language, perfect Spanish and English! She took the stand and her story was unbelievable tip hat her upbringing was in a state where daughters are trade for a cow because families are very poor. She had to walk many km everyday to go to school and she did.

the same meeting but other day, while waiting for the transportation outside the hotel we stayed at there came a "Huicholita" a woman from a ethnic group "Huicholes" and she did park just in front of us and she was driving a brand new pick up and she was wearing her native costumes and we were happily surprised wow

There are lots of work to do and if everyone puts a grain we could make a mountain.

Sauté Wild mushrooms in little bit of olive oil + garlic (powder) + salt

Maquech Beettle
Zopherus chilensis

In the south of México local people capture these beetles and glue some “stones”on them, chain them and sell them to tourists sigh
Those beetles are expected to live about one year in captivity.
My daughter rescued the one in the picture (not stones/chain anymore) and that beetle is still alive after 3 years, it is a she because once she did lay some eggs (silly girl) we took the eggs to an expert just to know and she feeds on mushrooms and wild mushrooms, very gourmet!

RE: Trade War?

Trump is just making noise (smoke curtain) and the car companies are playing along, they will create "some" jobs in USA and they will continue making investments and creating (blue-collar jobs) in other countries.

Will "those jobs" have a positive impact on the national un-employment rate?

"..US unemployment rate rose to 4.7 percent in December 2016 from a nine-year low of 4.6 percent in the previous month and in line with market expectations. The number of unemployed persons was almost unchanged at 7.5 million while the labor force participation rate increased by 0.1 percentage point to 62.7 percent. Unemployment Rate in the United States averaged 5.81 percent from 1948 until 2016, reaching an all time high of 10.80 percent in November of 1982 and a record low of 2.50 percent in May of 1953."
