Of course looks matter, as long as they look clean, healthy, and could afford a smile once in a while. If it's "looks versus character" tho, character wins, hands down.

As for your post, i don't have any cs experience that could help you get a serious romantic relationship out of the people online. At least you've been on 3 dates, i haven't had any That's probably geographical dilemma though. I wouldn't pay too much attention to profile "demands" as i'm assuming everyone knows that when love and attraction is there, physical attributes and even a few not so terrible habits can be overlooked. About the "willing to move" part, i think you'll have to find that out for yourself during your conversations. I think when people are looking for dates internationally, the option to move is always open. At least, open for consideration.

I've witnessed love stories coming true here, and in their testimonials, i found one common tip that they share with the singles left on here: faith and an open heart. Too broad i know, but if your keen, you'd certainly get what you want.

But, i have made wonderful friends here, unexpectedly amazing people. And the friendship eventually moved out of cs, and they've become my real life friends.

Bob was in trouble. He forgot his wedding anniversary. His wife was
really pissed.

She told him "Tomorrow morning, I expect to find a gift in the
driveway that goes from 0 to 200 in 6 seconds AND IT BETTER BE THERE !!"
