In the search for your prospective partner - yes........looks matter........to the person who is viewing you. Fortunately, everyone doesn´t see the same thing - it´s all in the eye of the beholder. But just because someone isn´t a "conventional" beautiful/handsome person, doesn´t mean they are not attractive.

Of course looks matter, as long as they look clean, healthy, and could afford a smile once in a while. If it's "looks versus character" tho, character wins, hands down.

Looks / a god pic on here is probably more important than in RL, as you can't just go over to talk to someone and see how you get on.
I had it way more often that I was chatting to someone and got interested in him because of his character than his looks.

Hi Dave, initially looks count, but what is more important than looks is
what is on the inside, that's what really matters,
If it is effecting you then don't allow others to rate you, turn it off.
you do need to get yourself more friends, just look for others who have

A picture may get my atention, however, many an attractive man became much less so after readng his pofile, and more 'average' people bcame more interesting. I always reply and always read a pofile if some-one messages me; however, location is a big factor or most people.
as suggested, try some local ladies you may actually be able to meet for coffee....or maybe even set up a CS get-together in your area if there are enough of you? People are more likely to chat to others in an informal group setting
