Gut feeling... she is about to leave the 'race', but she wants to go out being seen as an unfortunate victim, rather than go because she knows she has f/all support.
No credit. Ran out of stuff to say. Battery died. He fell asleep. Got distracted. Fell over, broke his skull and is now in intensive care <----- joking
Text him. Something simple like "how's your day going?"
There are barely enough staff to man the day-to-day running of any Social Welfare office, never mind the checking and re-checking of the hundreds of thousands of people signing on to ensure they are actually looking for work.
One of the qualifying conditions to receiving Jobseekers Allowance/Benefit is that you have to be "Genuinely seeking work", and be able to provide documentary proof. Anyone who makes a claim signs a declaration to this effect.
Encouragement is all well and dandy... what I read from your earlier post is that you want to be babied, cajoled, patted on the back for the smallest achievements.
That's not a man who gives you respect... that's a man who walks all over you and controls and belittles you..
If I get answered by telephonist with broken English, or an accent that I don't understand, I speak in Irish. That usually gets them floundering and I get switched back to an Irish based office.
Hmmm... it sounds like it needs a longer run. With just short distances the engine wont ever get up to a high enough pressure or temp. Long term, short runs only can make the car sluggish, or worse. My neighbours one+half yrs old car, engine siezed because it never did more than the school run, 5 mins round trips
When the engine management light is on the car runs in 'safe mode', or at least mine does. It'll run fine, but you might be lacking in power, for overtaking and the like.
RE: The thread where you ask some one out on a date
Maybe try it privately. As in by email. Some girls are just shy
