I personally would leave it be and still take it as you are meeting on friday. As there could be a number of reasons to why he stopped texting and the one you are thinking of may not be that reason!
Wait til Friday and if you heard nothing, just text him asking is tonite still on.
But one date doesnt make a relationship yet, it takes a few.

I think you're reading too much into it. Perhaps his phone died or he ran out of credit. I'd go ahead with the meet and if he doesn't turn up, put it down to experience and tell yourself it's his loss which it would be. You're certainly pretty enough, gentle enough and sensitive enough from what I see on here.

It's a wait and see situation, you will probably hear from him prior to Friday but if not a casual text maybe tomorrow re Friday still being on. Trust your own instinct
