Oo and yes.. the Grand canyon is beeeeaU-tiful .. Especially at sunrise and sunset .. when it becomes the most amazing shades of red and orange. And its soooooooooo huuuge.. as far as your eye can see.
I'll find one of my pics and put it on my profile in a minute then you can see what I mean.
I see people die because that's part of my job. (to care for them when they choose to die at home)
It's not so sad as it seems.. (sometimes it is)... but usually it's an absolute honour.
Plastinated bodies.. are bodies (donated by people after they die).. they put into certain chemicals to remove the skin and fat.. and leave everything else perfectly preserved..
Plastinated (plastic like) .. they are AMAZING!!!
That's also very humbling to see.. I was speechless and *WOW-ing* when I've seen them..
If you look up *The Bodies Exhibition* ... and Gunther Von Hagens.. you will see them ..
When you see them at an Exhibition they are not behind glass or barriers.. you COULD touch them if you wanted .. but no one seems to.. Everyone I've seen seems to have the utmost respect for them.. (me too)
They are Incredible.. they are posed in different ways to show you how the body works and moves.. I could even see their eyelashes!
Although a little morbid and 'haunting' almost.. they are very beautiful IMO
Anyway..Google them when you have time.. and have a look/read.
RE: What's your biggest life lesson learned?
In a similar veinI've learned that much as I like people..
The only person I can 100% TOTALLY trust is ME.
