Oo me too!... my mind is choosey over what it remembers too.

It's true (I think)... about how you may not always remember what someone said.. but you will always remember how you they made you FEEL.

I forgave my (ex) husband for all the things he said and did ..

because it didn't effect HIM, how I felt.. it only hurt me.. and it stopped me moving forward.


It was faaaaarrrr easier to forgive and let it go. (though it DID take me a few years of wishing his every conceivable gruesome death )

But as soon as *I* forgave him in myself.. I felt a million times better.

and yeah.. for the most part I HAVE forgotten it now too.. but I'm not IN a relationship with him, so it was easier to do.

I'm not sure how well I would do at forgive and forget if I was IN a relationship.. once the rot sets in for me its the beginning of the end.

I agree, it would depend on what it was.

I have a memory like and elephant for stuff that hurts me tho, I'm not brilliant at the forgetting part.

I think forgiveness is the most important.. BUT... if you can't 'Forget' ... then your relationship is damaged.

I am very comfortable being single, after the initial *Woe is me* *Left on the shelf* traumas.. I began to love it.

It has never stopped me doing anything couples would do (well.. almost haha)... I just carried on and did them on my own or with my buddies instead.

PLUS... when I would see my *Couple* friends.. going throo relationship problems.. watching them argue or bicker and disagree about things..complain about each other... sometimes look soo miserable and unhappy..

I haaaate that.

It always made me think.. *Phew! thank gawwwd that's not ME*

Yes I would move anywhere for love,
BUT it would depend in everything else falling into place if I were to do that. I wouldn't move to the detriment of my children.

I can play my PS2 games.. and I bought a memory card adaptor so that I can use the old mem cards from the PS2. So that's cool.
