RE: I’ll talk to you later, Sweetie, Okay…..

Au contraire, it's one of my favorites.
Years ago I was home sick and flipping endlessly through channels and caught the very beginning of this film.
I was hooked. The acting is amazing.
I've watched it a handful of times since then and got my friends to watch it as well.
It's top of my list. thumbs up

RE: Is free speech in your relationships important?

Yes, many Americans haven't been out of the USA, but many have. dunno
With the exception of those states that border Canada and Mexico, we can't just hop in the car and be in another country within 2 or 3 hours like in Europe.

RE: If a uneducated man or woman here in CS .

Gosh you're just too clever for me then....a person from another country and culture lecturing me on what I do/don't know on my own country and culture. Ironic considering your OP....you doing exactly what you profess others are doing/not doing.

RE: If a uneducated man or woman here in CS .

Hi Ali.
I see that now. It was a strange comment made by sunnyside.
Hope you have been well.

RE: If a uneducated man or woman here in CS .

RE: The ever rising bar.

Perhaps as we age, we have life experiences that have molded who we are.
Perhaps we are more self aware, and have a better idea of who we are and what we have to offer.
Our goals are different than when we were younger, and we no longer seek a partner for family rearing and climbing the corporate ladder.
Commanlities are more important.
We understand better the personalities we meld with.
Perhaps we spot the red flags earlier on and don't have the desire anymore to ignore them and hope for the best.
Maybe we are content in our lives and our journey and seek someone to complement that.

RE: Happy Birthday America

You were?
Do I really have any praises to sing about?

RE: Believers, Brothers and Sisters

Why didn't he make all living things vegetarian?
I could so easily be vegetarian if I didn't like meat so much. laugh
Seriously though, nature is so cruel, and for an animal lover such as myself, it is difficult to see animals killing other animals, and we humans slaughtering creatures.

RE: White Castle 100 year anniversary!

Not at all a fan of White Castle. blech.
But cute mugs. thumbs up

RE: The uk wallabies are no more.

Ahh I don't know about that.
It is enjoyable to be getting back into the dating swing of things though after 15 months of covid putting the kabosh on a social life.

RE: The uk wallabies are no more.

Sorry to derail your thread Bod.

RE: The uk wallabies are no more.

I hear there is a bounty on the head of the roadrunner from a so called Wiley Coyote.

RE: Which is more honest...some with a fake profile photo or someone without a photo?

I don't agree or disagree with photoshop. To each his own. There are far greater issues in the world to lose sleep over.

I have met men who have posted outdated photos, some I didn't even recognize. I stayed for the coffee, made some friends along the way or enjoyed some interesting chat, and go on with my day.

RE: The uk wallabies are no more.

Yes they really are, but much smaller in size than depicted by Looney Tunes.

RE: The uk wallabies are no more.

I used to travel to Albuquerque, New Mexico annually and the roadrunners always eluded me when I had my camera out. They just know. grin
