I have to agree, it was lacking in some of the charm of the original. But it was still vastly entertaining. I think I want to see it again, because, you're right, Kuza, the story was confusing and a little hard to follow. But I liked the 'disgusting' Dutchman crew. I thought they were original and very creepy.
For some reason kids are born knowing how to manipulate. Those of us with really smart kids especially have to keep one step ahead of them at all times.
Legends of the Fall. I know a lot people liked it, but I thought it was a total disappointment. Stupid plot, lousy dialog, overblown music everytime Brad Pitt entered the scene. A complete waste of Anthony Hopkins and Aiden Quinn's talents.
Eyes Wide Shut. Wish I could get that 2 hours (or whatever) back.
"But if you're pushing away men and then later wishing that you had given them more of a chance then you're too guarded. If you have no regrets then you're perfectly FINE! There's nothing wrong at all with not getting involved with the wrong partner. If you know it's wrong and you stick to your guns more power to you!
It's better to go through life and never have a mate than to get hook up with someone who is going to put you through emotional hell. There's no such thing as being too picky, or too guarded. Unless you're pushing away people that you're really attracted to and feel good about! THEN you have a problem."
If I am guarded, it's because I follow my instincts, and my years of impulsiveness are way over.

And it makes you wonder when you get an email or flower from them if they are sending the same thing to every woman on the site. Makes you feel *so* special
A lot of people start smoking when they are teenagers, when they think they are invulnerable or cannot get addicted and assume they can stop at anytime down the road. By the time they decide they want to be less abusive to themselves, they are already addicted.
A picture lets you know if someone is your 'type'. Looks can draw you in. If you show no personality or substance to back it up, you are not going to create any further interest. I have become attracted to people on the basis of their personality, when I wasn't neccessarily attracted to them physically at first. When you become attracted to someone in other ways, you start to find them more physically attractive. At least that is my experience.
I don't say a lot in emails. I talked to a friend tonight on the phone and I couldn't shut up. I have had family members in the military also, they can't just take leave whenever they want. If these are the only things bothering you I wouldn't make too much of it, but maybe your gut is telling something else is not right. Or else you are just scared because of past disappointments? After a few, you start to expect it, I've been there.
My parents are together after 40+ years. They have somehow managed to end up in a peaceful coexistance at this point. Too bad their hell years were when my siblings and I were growing up. I wished (at the time) that they would separate. I think they put me off marriage.
I love animals and so does my daughter. She would have a houseful if I let her. We have had several small pets, rat, hamster, mouse, newts, guinea pig, fish, considering a cat (something that lives a bit longer would be nice!)

Just speculating. Maybe there is something intimidating about you. Do you come across as too obsessed with your body? If a woman isn't in perfect physical condition, she might feel like she doesn't measure up.
RE: dating on a budget
That is perfect.
