COULD FLIPPER HAVE BEEN JACK THE RIPPER?

I WENT TO WAR WITH A WALL

Don’t worry honey, I protect my life
With a concealed and well honed knife
No switch blade, just a steak knife we had laying around
But just like a switch blade it will bring a man down

Don’t worry honey, I know the street too well
When you walk with me can’t you tell?
The street agrees with me and I with the street
And sincerely the street and you should meet

It’s a place where animals get out for awhile
Away from a place of cement and tile
So they rush to the trough just like all of the rest
And then scurry back to their cage or their nest

None of them give a damn about anyone
They don’t even trust a priest or a nun
Wave the Monroe Doctrine in front of them and they wince
Because everyone there thinks they’re a princess or prince

So when I go to various venues to rob and tosteal
You know it baby, your lover is for real
Oh, and just in case I happen to fail
Make sure you can get money for my bail

does anyone know a good recipe for aardvark?

I MUST REMEMBER TO FORGET

I remember when you didn’t remember the time nor the place
I recall how you didn’t recall our first kiss and how it made your heart race
I know you’ve forgotten what you swore you’d never forget
And I know you didn’t know that I’ve loved you since the moment we first met

Simply to help your memory function well and be precise
You opined that if this is what forever is like you wanted a slice
Your words spoke softly of romance as well did your heart
And I’m certain you don’t recall promising to give me your all from the start

You can’t envision the first time I came into your vision
Or swearing to every god there is we will never suffer division
You swore we’d be one and never be done making each other’s heart race
Yet I remember our firsts of everything especially our first emphatic and embrionic embrace

You don’t understand that I still don’t understand why you had to go
I suppose to you our love became irrelevant and obsolete
that’s all I know
It’s sorrowful how fast a first can so easily become a last
And now years later all we are is part of each other’s past

SHE'S STILL HONKING

DEATH WAS THE SECRET AND DOPE WAS THE PRIZE

We had so much back then to apologize for
A thousand things, perhaps even more
There was the broken, the smashed and much of the cracked
We did a lot of damage and that’s a f**king fact

Most stood transfixed on the destruction being done
But they were just bystanders blinded by the sun
And when their eyes were no longer shut what did they see?
They saw collateral damage and people like me

As Hansel and Gretel we followed a path of tears
Because for years it’s that kind of regret that adheres
One doesn’t simply say dry your eyes and it’s over
That would be akin to a weed turning into a clover

Yes, those years were a backdrop on a primordial stage
A play written, directed, and produced by the universe and its rage
There came a time when our eyes betrayed who and what we’d all become
And suddenly a lot of people decided to walk around doped up and numb

Then some prestidigitator president and his specious spouse opened her big mouth
When they realized the problem had spread from east to west and north to south
Give the kids a slogan about “just saying no” and they’ll follow all the rules
See, that’s what happens when you hand this country over to fools

We’d held demonstrations about racism and were maddened by war
And with battle comes death while we were all keeping score
Yes, we had a lot of things back then to apologize for
But I’m telling you, your corrupt government has a lot more

THE THIRD world weeps FIRST

THE THIRD WORLD WEEPS FIRST
The other day I was perplexed so I pondered and reckoned
It occurred to me that the Third World always comes second
The other night I came to the conclusion that what’s really the worst
Is that the Industrial Nations always come first

Hey, it’s more important for Mr. Important to get his T-Bone steak
Then to look at youthful skin and bones that cause my heart to break
I hear all the pleas for donations from various organizations
But why would anyone collect money for what they deem irrelevant nations?

We’ve got our own problems here to reflect and repair
So forget those hungry mothers whose breasts have no milk to share
Simply make sure Mr. Important is comfy with Tammy his assistant bent over a plush leather chair
And Mrs. Important knows about Tammy and approves as long as she gets gems she deems rare

Well fair it ain’t and I can tell you why in ways by the score
Because no matter how our economic stimulus is all Americans want is more
More of what Mr. Moore has more of him, then him and one lovely daughter
But does anyone realize that billions of people on this planet are drinking stagnant and parasitic water?***

So this may only be conjecture but I heard some gentleman saying something
Something about he bought his wife a flawless six carat diamond ring
S**t, sell that ring and feed……. House…… and clothes billions of people and let them praise the rich
Or instead purchase a new Ferrari, Lamborghini or Excalibur for your dyed platinum blonde b***h

if u cross a canteloupe and a collie dog u get a

melancholy baby

ON SPIRITS, SAINTS AND SPITTOONS

If you want to love me but find yourself unable
If that is buried deep within you about me
First of all don’t put a setting for me at the table
And for Christ’s sake, just take back the key

This whole palace is your’s and your’s alone
Bedrooms with pink sheets AND a comforter to match
And when I’m gone and you know it’s me don’t pick up the phone
Lock the windows, lock the door, and double check the latch

I see love in your eyes but surrender in your voice
It seems you’ve succumbed to a wish you hold in your heart
I must admit, knowing myself as I do you are given very little choice
Just make certain to do all the things you need to whenever I depart

I’m a spirit of spittoons and a Saint of outhouses and such
While you’ve two cars, one you don’t drive, and are oh so very rich
I remember the first time you said ‘I need your gentle touch’
But now I can opine that you’re father’s a coward and probably bends over for the b*tch

the pres, the pope and a dope

I AM WILLING TO BET THAT THE POPE KNOWS HOW TO COPE
SANS USING DOPE

The truth is I can no longer cope
And no one will throw me a rope
Nor will they give me a modicum of hope
And they know I don’t believe in saints, angels or the Pope

Ain’t no saint going to come and pluck me from desperation
And that mythical spirit would know that I’m soaked in perspiration
If there are no angels then can Heaven be real?
Because if it is, and it’s nice, I’m willing to negotiate and/or deal

Ain’t no savior going to bring me to Mt. Zion to pray
No one is going to arrive and save the day
If I am forced to I will find a way to do what needs to be done
And for sure is it hasn’t been easy for my father to have me as a son

In order to sum things up without being verbose but succinct
I need a couple of years to rest, relax and think\
Alas too soon I’ll be running to a needle and dope
And I’m not asking to be Pope I simply need the means to cope

hey doc, your daughter makes MINE LIKE a rock

HEY DOC, YOUR DAUGHTER MAKES ME HARD AS A ROCK

“Now relax while I show you some pictures and tell me what you see
I don’t want you to hypothesize, analyze or criticize
forget about the couch and of course forget about me
Just stare at what I show you and describe what you see with your own two eyes”

Now in this first one describe what you decipher please
Simply stare straight ahead at what I show you
“okay doc, I see your wife with the mailman and she’s on her knees
And he’s telling her, in explicit terms, what he wants her to do

by the way doc, is that a picture of your daughter over there?
“well I usually don’t answer my patients queries but yes that’s my lovely young Bess”
Now let’s get back to the Raushack and what you see while making yourself quite clear”
Okay doc, I see me and your lovely Bess as she’s sensuously and hurriedly removing her dress

“and in this picture tell me what you imagine and observe”
Well, I see your mother telling your father to f**k her from behind
“Now let me tell you something mister because you’ve really got a lot of nerve”
Hey, I’m just telling you what I conjured up within my mind

“Okay then, now this is the last picture and thankfully we’re done
Done for the today when your hour ceases to be”
Okay, I see me forcing open your mouth and insert a forty-five caliber gun
So tell me Doctor, surely there can’t be anything wrong with me

COME HAVE GUN IN THIS PLAYGROUND

I’m talking to you about a young white boy wandering bad neighborhoods
You never warned me about the wolves in the woods
You simply walked me to the edge and you left without a word
You didn’t tell me how to wage a war without armaments, or an army
So there I was to either waste away or war with the weather
Storms were just something further to beat
And it’s death,
defeat
or battle back in the bleakness of horrid heat
To win over the frigid fiascoes
the rain with its virgin drops and wailing wind
And it ain’t going to do no good to start having contrition now because you sinned
You never forecasted a forest filled with fiends and fear
You just took and left me there
Alone again toe find a way to find what I need most
A forest in which I had to fend for myself
And defend myself
I looked out for snakes that slither the city sidewalks hawking their wares
The ones like I with needles and need
You didn’t tutor me on how to feed myself or find shelter because money is a thing of the past
Since every vagrant penny goes in your arm
You didn’t explain how easily my physical being could meet Hell or come to harm
Walking into a trap because the man says he’s got that which I am there for
Then he puts a gun to your head the minute he closes the door
And the money that was supposed to buy you peace was no more
The woods, the forests, the darkest avenues of avid scum bags out to avenge something or someone
because in the woods there are a lot of hungry people and others who can live on revenge alone for what someone else has done
And in the forest there are varied types of fruit growing on trees that tremble for your trouble
But not one tree opted to shade you from the sun or not be withered by the wind
And the birds of prey that come in pairs praying that death be mine
You never told me about the darkness with no tunnel out or exit of any kind
For we were none so blind
You left me here with society’s victims who all wanted the same thing
A way to wage a war, a way to weather a storm, some hope and thirty bags of dope
When you put that first needle in my arm you knew it was a scary slope that I would conquer or fall
Yet and still you thought I knew it all
Doing what needs to be done and done for good
However here I am again, still searching for powdered peace in a bad neighborhood

THIS MUSIC IS SO LOUD, DID YOU SAY SHE'S RICH?

‘TWIXT A TWERP AND A TWIN

are you the one who is trying to come ‘twixt she and me?
Are you the one who makes her blush like the roses we Are blessed to see?
Couldst you be the one to split up a couple alegedly laden with love?
And are you the one who promised to gather and grant her every star above?

Wouldst thou presume to have the power
At any second, minute or hour
To make me fade like a fireplace and its smoke
And then try to rekindle the embers she came to stoke

Must you be taught about her ample lust?
And the pies she bakes with a buttery crust?
Will you be the one, the weed and the wedge?
But take heed when she’s tries to lead you the edge

So, you must be the one who thinks himself suave and urbane
Okay, I say, go learn about the intricacies of the lady’s brain
Then strike up a conversation about being handsome and rich
Do all that because I certainly don’t want the ignorant b*tch

DID will, BILL, and GILL get THERE pill?

DID WILL, BILL AND GIL GET THEIR PILL?

I got this great idea to invent a pill
Make it so men can get pregnant as well
Dudes walking around in camouflage
Get a huge belly and know pregnancy is an un-earthly hell

This pill will be mandated and mandatory to ingest
Let’s let men do what women have been doing since Eve
Let the future climb out of Walter’s womb
With little baskets to make and baby blankets to weave

So mommy is in one hospital room and daddy’s in another
And our peaceful home will be noisy for quite a while
One kid from her and the other one from him
And the dad wonders how his wife can summon a smile

Don’t all of you get it, there’s been a problem for years?
And we should have monitored each and every birth
Because all we’ve accomplished is a problem made worse
And doesn’t everyone understand we are over-populating the earth?

i MEAN I''VE heARD Of RUnaWay bRIDEs

A BILLION WAYS TO SAY THREE LITTLE WORDS

There must be so many ways to say the same exact thing
Like, take this offering I was commanded to deliver to you from the Spring
And in the summer I shall say “take these my sweet”
As daisies rise from the ground to bless the finesse of your feet

There must be thousands of adjectives and numerous never ending nouns
More words than there are tidy and tiny towns
Now let me say this in a different way to you
you will never find words birthed anew
You will seek yet never find a new way of what to say
When it’s so loudly defined by a willingness to pay
Are you bold enough to promise vows that you will for all days keep
Or will they, such as a corpse, be buried six feet deep

How shall I react when she says three words so small yet so sacrosanct to me

Will her lips form each syllable clearly so that I might understand and let it be?
Well where is she already with her supposed proposal billions before have done and said?
so there sat i with cumberbun and a woman ready to marry me
Instead of my beloved the minister meandered closer and whispered the three words, “your fiancé’s dead”
