Venus crescent
this wanderer
who flees before the sun
to cut the ribbon of seasons tie
edge forming points on curve of human achievement
each upon others shoulders
hard up against walls of the infinite
reaching for greatness
are lives but petals to a quantum rose
flown from the rising sun
whispering promise
of a Goddess's smile
as the richness of Summer begins

Valhalla sky a soul had stepped
sweet as children of the minds adept
catching sand with quit hands
gathered from stars which never slept
this dance she brings a song expands
falling like suns on distant lands
to light inside what heart has kept
gardens in pools where the Goddess wept

a beggars cup for sorrow
painting beauty's smile
ten thousand years to whisper
each galaxy in her eye
a flowers blossom
speaking souls upon this road
for the wind has left us here
ships in a sea of strangers

stars and molten gold
pouring hearts into a mold
that each might see and all behold
a story so often told
within the soul unfold
but they were only cat eye dreams
staring into the distance

blossoming from hips
petals to shape her eyes
look on Autumn skies
making lines for every curve
with worship which love deserves
so slowly as the minds ascent

thoughts of her will bring

for in the dawns light
the women had come to dress the body in wight
but behold
for upon the stone an angel foretold
that he was no longer here
within was only an empty bier
then he said
to the tears which they shed
go fourth and tell the disciples
that he has risen

she sleeps in womb of rich earth

About this poem:
Usually happens a little closer to valentines day,but all the cherry trees blossomed a little early this year. Always amazes me how it seems to happen all at once,as if by some unseen signal.
