Blind as Vanity

The placid warmth of someone grieving
The awakening of someone leaving
To rest beside the sick
To listen to the coping of the poor
The invisible silence of the body releasing the soul
Tiny bodies empty of hope
Starving beauty expressed in face
Every single bone and how it is placed

But when you think of beauty these never come to mind
It hides so carefully fooling the eye
Beauty hides in everything
But still we remain so blind

Giving curiosity to those who seek its kind
A species so striken with vanity and image
A brain washing force that has no discipline
And so you paint your face for others to see
And lace your body with pearls to hide the inner tragedy
Just as you realize your just as blind as vanity

Bottles

A bottle in one, a bottle in all
Listen closely, hear them fall
Crack ,shatter ,simply divide
Some empty, others full
Fill with anything one desire
Some bend and warp of plastic
Others hard and adaptable of glass
Subtle filling of warmth
But so easly turn cold
This versatile inner mass

Bottleing in, bottleing out
An involuntary action that speaks for itself
Begging your energy to fulfill and adore
They are one in all
Not all the same
Having the same goal
Hope to be claimed

The Breakdown

Prick my fingers
Cripple my legs
Take me away from my special place

All those poeple that live off their lies
Spending their days in deep fantasize
Close the door but let in the rain
Still there is soo much to explain

Listen
Here me out
Let me remove all doubt
We tread the days slowly with pout
Giving me chance
Giveing me hope
stay with me
Ill hand you the rope

Climb
Come take what is needed
Leave what is not
Risk all we have to regain what we have lost
Breathe in

Present Prospering

Simplistic movements of the tongue
To give answers to questions that others seek among

And as you live in rhythm your eyes wonder above
Day dreaming silently about the one you love

Finger tips and bitten lips giving comfort to the feeling within

Seems we are just another pattern
Everyday another step down the ladder

Numbing logic, breeding hallucination
The concept of simple creation

Love at best, confusion at worst

Life
A bubble waiting to burst

Grain of Life

I am a sensitve soul
Only one heart to hold
With time I wither
My life coming down to a sliver
But I'll never grow old

I'll come to be the cinder
thats spread across your fingers
But still this heart I hold is limber

I fall
Far and deep
For this mound I pull to my sides is quite steep
Molding to the stiching of the land
Simple as I am
Refined sand
My power under minded
My witts undecided
Forever the upper hand

~The Tree~

I wish I could paint you this life time
Every etch in the grain of the window sill carved at our roots
Every drop from the rind that once lingered on our vines
But the truth is my vision into the winter of our future is beyond this thin linen of our minds..

These deep coasre roots still linger here
But whose to say they may unravel with time
Our seasons have changed ,our bark denser than some and softer than others may weather with the water of our lives...

I wish I could show you how I see the sun
How it beckons me to uproot from where I have begun
But still I sow my seed under the fertilness of our tree
Ripe with the fruit that's cradled thee
How I wish I could let it be
Careful not to shake our leaves
But still my dear I must part our weave, to ensure our further harvest of no weeds
To carry out all our needs
But still my hunger leads
How it tempts me to pluck at our fruit and feed....

This hallow at my core bends at the branches
Giving power to any storm.
How its lightning could peel back the bark from our form.
To see the crevice of what Ive grown
Neslted in the soil deep I have sown.....

This growth hidden among the vines
among our intricate weave
Patterned into the heart upon my sleeve......
