Twelve years in the dark
Groping in every direction
Chasing a feel-good feeling
Couldn’t see where I was going
Comfort in chaos
Or stubbornness forgiven?
Pause.
12 years of self-inflicted blindness.
Children’s voices..
Now commanders of their destiny.
The grays are telling a different story.
I’ve heard it before.
But darkness is infectious.
The message ignored.
Time imposes new rules.
Sitting in the dark
Punished by the game of love.
Anger drives you to this dark place.
Ruled by distrust
And his mistress lust.
One day…if it ever comes
She steps in
Touches your heart
And turns on
The Light.

Determined to succeed
In spite of life’s chances
I see the possibilities
Amidst dusts and bad memories
Giving up is not an option
Hope guides me when tears rides me
Years passed me
Yet I dream on
And today I make one step closer.
All is not lost.
I smile at yesterday’s disappointments.
My life has become a sweet melody
I sing a happy sound.

Your smile opens a window
To my heart
That brightens my day
And sadness departs.


Your touch breaks down ancient walls
Built with memories of pain and sorrow.
Now naked I lie upon a deep ocean of pleasure
In your tight embrace.


Your eyes speak the language of love...
Warm, inviting, wanting.
A light amidst my darkened path,
You see beauty for ashes.

Your lips tell the story of hope,
Where distance separates not
Two loving souls.
And speaks of a happier tomorrow.

You are precious and rare.
All the diamonds in the world cannot compare.
You are wonderfully made by the Master's hands.
You are my love....my everything.

she is unique and can never be imitated
she is closest when memories of others have faded
she never forces herself upon you
but believes only what her heart sees
she is always there to mend a broken soul
she forgives and forgets
hurtful word rarely leaves her lips...
when you see yourself through her eyes..you see happiness...
purpose is within your reach.
she is priceless yet precious and rare
all the diamonds in the world can't buy her.
she seeks your interest and not your benefits
there is no "i" and "my" about her stares
and spending eternity with you
is what's on her mind...
open your heart and never let her go.

Make up a word, “Jubunji”
Spit it out!
Never let them see you angry
Cuss, nor shout!
Progress is never easy
Struggle towards your goal
In spite of envy
And all the pressures of the world!
Silence is golden.
My accusers to the left and right of me
I sit , hear and behold ‘em
Yet I repeat silently..”jubunji!”
Soon the vicious lies, half truths subside
The meeting is over
Yet the tears well not in my eyes
And everything falls in my favour
Not one word fell from my lips
I’ve left a lot wiser.
Exposed to their tricks
Yet closer to my Deliverer.

Trying my best to pass the test of life
But here comes another ‘X’ to cause me stress and strife!
My accuser says, “Throw in the towel and make an exit.”
“Too hard! I Quit” I just can’t pass it.
I‘ve been down this road before.
I’m sure I mastered every twist and turn
Put my best foot forward, only to get burn!
I’ve done my part, put others ahead of me.
Gladly provided and given sacrificially.
But the good they do not see, only the glass half-empty.
A thorn in my flesh. Take it away..I’m impatient.
But He says ‘Not today! My grace is sufficient!”
Yet I’ve travelled this far, and I wonder ..how did I get here?
I’m tired ..but as I look around this is what I see
Hope and Faith watching … depending on me
Be strong. Prepare the way and make their walk easy.
I look into their small eyes. My frowns are greeted with smiles.
Doubt dies and the will to fight comes alive.
A new day is ahead, if only I can endure.
Immense possibilities and so much more.
I turned ahead and as I took one more step forward.
I said, “I felt like giving up , but I won’t. I’m no coward.”

Pinned the blame on the foolish game.
It's not the same without you.
Never trusted time to unwrap the gift inside.
The dirt got in her eyes..tears blurred her vision.
Just couldn't live with a broken vessel.

Pain lingers on; the child in him withdraws
Behind dark shadows of hurt and unforgiveness
"She never understood me!"
Words of solace to a fool.
Open your eyes and look deep inside.

"Man up!" she said, "I'd hope he'd change."
Change is life's difficult equation.Unsolved.
Now, I flirt with loneliness and romance lust.
Got so much to offer but I'm scared to try.
No one hears my angry cry.

Kiss of rejection from a nagging heart.
Now, it's me and You, Lord
"I surrender. Do your thing...lovingly."
The child in me longs for a Father.
Teach me how to be a man..a woman's desire.

Addicted to sin..my guilty pleasure
Same mistakes, over and over!
Oh, said I love Him..my actions brand me a liar
Who will set my shame on fire?

CHRIST CAN!

My twisted fate in this cruel world.
No one there for this lonely soul.
Broken, bruised, confused, used ...all of the above.
Is there anyone with a little love?

CHRIST CAN!

My strength is gone, can't go any further.
I've lost the battle. Will I loose the war?
Little money....what security?
Desperate!!! Someone, please help me!

CHRIST CAN!

A miracle, a prayer, a special touch...
Not money nor pity...am I asking too much?
Hope is here...open your eyes
A little raising of the head towards the skies.

Shadows of My Mind
A world where dreams live
Where today is tomorrow
And sun never stops shining
Heartbreaks don't live next door anymore
But the smiles of yesterday linger on
I'm safe and never afraid
To kiss secretly the lips of another
And eat the forbidden fruit
where true love is free
"eternity is where i live"
Says another
Just close your eyes
And experience me
A thought by you.

"Left for dead"
The words upon their lips
As He hung bounded
Bloodied by their tricks

Confused words He spoke
"You must die to live..
Be born again"
Was it all in vain?

Yet He lives in me
I can't explain
What seemed pleasing
I gave up with pain

Drawn to Him
Loneliness comes knocking
As I open the door
His grace walks in

Doubts and fear
Won't leave me alone
Yet By His name
Who can cast the first stone?

My flesh say "no"
My heart says "yes"
Burdens for blessings
Can I pass the test?

Her first love, Jesus,
"Left for dead"
What's His charge?
"Father, forgive them."

Life Is Love
A painted rainbow
After the rain amidst the rays of sun
Why must I look up to heaven?
With flooded eyes
On bended knees and broken dreams
Hope is lost....so it feels
Arise, yes arise!
Life is love!
The Father's gift
With open arms
I feel His touch
Suddenly there's tomorrow
And yesterday was memories lived
My heart beats again
The rhythm of love
To share with you.
