candyrain Poetry (3)

Sometimes we end up in a place that is neither here nor there
A place filled with emptiness sorrow or despair
A moment in time and space that we do not quite understand
When those times occur, we may fall wherever we stand
Nevertheless, we must know that for every heart filled agonizing tear that we cry
For every moment that we think, there is no way we will make it, no matter what we try
For the times we lay regretting and longing to retract the decision we have made in the past
Believing that then and only then, would these troubling moments seize to last
In those moments we must not give up; we must have faith and try to understand
That even in despair,our prayers are heard, we haven't been forgotten, God has a plan
We must hold our heads high, and let the tears fall where they may
For blessed are the righteous we too shall have our day

“Do unto others as you would have them do unto to you”
or “an eye for an eye” tell me… which one is true?
if you were hurt without cause, purposely DECEIVED, without remorse
would you be compelled to repay the favor, or simply WAIT FOR karma to run its course?
if you were betrayed without just cause, for no apparent reason
would you consider it a crime, like murder or treason?
if Your heart WERE attacked and being destroyed, would you give up without fight?
Or Would you Take it upon yourself to even the score, and make things right?
would you just let it all go and try to contain the hate that you feel?
Or would you grab the DECK, SET the cards, and deal???

No one knows this world that I live in
It’s like an Olympic race that never ends
you run as hard and fast as you can, but without a finish line
how do you keep going? how do you suppose YOU WILL win?
In my life I HAVE seen better and I have seen worst
At times I’ve felted blessed, sometimes I’ve felt cursed
I have been told “things will change It’s just not your time”
But those words hold no content, in my frame of mind
I had hope so I PRAYED, I begged and I cried
now I’ve exhausted all possibilities and I’m tired
I don’t know what to DO, NOT now, not anymore
so I wander AIMLESSLY, looking for a way out, a door
some SAY, THAT I’M just going thru a season
I say, my life is pure madness without a reason
No one knows this world that I live IN, I’m lost at sea
Floating in the middle of nowhere, AN INEVITABLE casualty
