HALLOWEEN

The ghost train trundles down the ghostly track
Clickety clack clickety clack
Its carriages filled with a ghostly pack
Clickety clack clickety clack

its whistle lets out a deathly scream
for tonight is the night of halloween
Clickety clack clickety clack

The wolfman stands at the engines prowl
when he see's the moon
He lets out a howl
Clickety clack clickety clack

The hideous witch and her blackest cat
Is off to visit her coven pact
Clickety clack clickety clack

All the ghouls who can barely be seen
Are all on the the train for tis halloween
Clickety clack clickety clack

all the ghouls and monsters come out for this day
As halloween is the time they can come and play
Clickety clack clickety clack

Today is the day mere mortals all fear
And are glad halloween comes only once a year
Clickety clack clickety clack

When the mortals see them
They flee and run
And cannot wait for the rising sun
Clickety clack clickety clack

Although there is something
Their all glad to hear
Halloween comes but once a year
Clickety clack clickety clack

Numbers

All the numbers from 1-10, were having an argument who was the best amoungst them
"As i'm the first it me of course, i'm number 1 in the universe"
"Bah sucks to you, its me number 2, so the'll all vote for me instead of you"
"Don't be silly it me" said 3, "so keep all those thought in your head"
"Get out the door its me number 4, I am the best number yet"
"Saints alive, its gonna be me number 5, i'm telling you all don't forget"
"Your all in a fix for I am 6, i'll win it for sure i'll wager a bet"
"Don't go forgetting its me number 7, its definatly me as a matter of fact"
"Oh your all so late" said number 8 "you should all vote for me cos I am great"
"Don't waste your time because I am 9, i've already won in record time"
"I'm at the top, so I got the lot, for I am 10, so shut up you lot"
They all argued a little bit more, and then they agreed that 10 was indeed the best number they had ever met, even by defeated grumpy old number 3

Dad

I often think of you my Dad
I cried a lot when I've been sad
Why did you go I often pray
It was his time I hear them say

When we were young
We had such fun
Playing with you in the noonday sun

With nexts doors kids
And whatsisnames
We played our games again and again

So next time when I feel so sad
I'll think of all the fun I had
With you my dear sweet old Dad

Old man of the sea

The old man cast of in his trusted old boat, it wasn't elegent or pretty but at least it float,
He went to catch a fish that he saw, in the beautiful blue waters the day before,
Stelios was this old mans name, in his youthful times he had a muscular frame, But now he scratched a living fishing instead, his weather beaten body, white hair on his head, he finally reached his destiny, baited his hook and cast out to sea.

It wasn't long before the fish that he saw, previously only one day before, took his bait and tried to run him of course. Stelios was proud, and he could see, this fish was huge, even bigger than thee, he held his line as hard as he could, and he would do whatever he could, to land this fish of that he really did wish.

He held firm, the fish thrashed about, "I will win this battle, for that I don't doubt"
On and on in the heat of the day, "please help me God" you could hear him pray. By now his arms ached, and his old hands bled, "I must hold on", he was saying in his head.
Suddenly the fish slackened its grip, it appeared to submit.
Stelios cheered, and cried some too, he beat the fish, he knew it was true.

He hauled the fish on his boat, what a prize, the sun had now set, and with a tear in his eyes, sailed his boat back to the shore where he saw his wife standing there he saw. He drew his boat onto the golden sand, his wife held out a steadying hand, and they both embraced under the moonlight land.

They took the fish back home with them, by now it was way past ten, where they ate a feast, with many friends, who toasted Stelios, and his amazing feat. He told them of the battle with the fish that he caught. They listened intently throughout the night, right until the morning sunlight, Stelios then went back to the sea, so blue and so bright.

Food galore

For breakfast, I had some toast and jam
For lunch I had some beans
For dinner I had some roast beef
For tea I had some cheese
For supper I had a light snack
And then I laid down on my back
To dream of all the food in my tum
It tasted great, it was yum.

Love

I love you more and more each day
I love you in each and every way
A love so strong and will endure
All the things we hold so dear

So say those words I long to hear
And whisper them in my ear
You are a gift from up above
Thats why I cherish your sweet love

You are the one I long to see
You truly mean the world to me
If peace is a form of a pure white dove
Then I am at peace with your sweet true love

Our love will last forever and ever
As we are soulmates and should be together
So let us keep that pure white dove
As a token of our eternal love

Rainbow

I sat and watched a rainbow, arch in the sky
Its many beautiful colours were pleasing on the eye
The rain came down, the sun shone bright
Picking up the coloured spectrum, with its golden light

They say their is a crock of gold, at the rainbows end
But i'm not sure about that, my multicoloured friend
So when you see a rainbow climbing in the sky
Go look at its band of colours one day, before it fades away

Ants

The Queen looked down on her vast colony
"Go forth you workers, for we all need to feed"
The workers made a foraging plan, to scour every inch of this vast great land.
Some went North, South, East and then West, to find the food they like to eat best.
In their thousands they marched around, to pick up the titbits upon the ground.
But suddenly they saw food galore, and sent back a message, for reinforcements more.
They all worked by day, and then by night they gathered much food what a beautiful sight.
Enough food as far as the eye can see, to feed every ant, in this vast colony

The learning tree

Oh wise and wonderful learning tree
Please teach me what the creatures see
Is it true what people say
The wisest often learn that way
Give us all strength to learn and grow
From baby to adult
Right up to we're old
You are wise and wonderful now
So stand up tall and take a bow

Earth sun and Moon

The Earth Sun and Moon where discussing one day, why can't we all go out to play,
The Earth said to the Sun "I can come out with you, during the day, but with you Moon it will be night time I'll have to say"
With that thought the Moon did reply "why can't we all meet at the same time in the sky"
With his head in his hands the Sun did say "we can at some point, not now, maybe someday"
"When will that be" the Moon said with glee "in many years time when we are all aligned"
Many years passed, and as promised at last, all three were aligned, and they all had a blast.

Your having a laugh

If you think i'm famous your having a laugh
To me a jacuzzi, is passing wind in the bath
I'm nothing like a celebrity
Who all walk around saying "oh look at me"
I am just an ordinary man
Who gets through life just the best way I can
I don't have a big house with lots of waiting staff
I'm not a celebrity, your having a laugh
Although I admire the things that they do
It's all for them, not me or you
Who want's the life of a celebrity
You can keep it all certainly
