'Politicans Irish Style'

'Politicans in Ireland talk a load of Shite'

Politicans in Ireland talk a load of shite
They call to your door at election times
Promising you everything in life
You listen attentatively and give them your time
And eventually you give them your vote
They return to the Dail and start to fight
Only because they all think their right
Politicans in Ireland talk a load of shite.

Ireland,it just does'nt seem right
People are starting to worry were they right to vote
They voted Fianne Fail, who have a gall
Because they can't get it right
The taoiseacht at the time
Was busy hidding money, with his past bunny
Only to be found out
So carful were his answers
That it came to light
That Celia bought a beauty parlour
Just to look right
Politicans in Ireland talk a load of shite

The Tribunal for him won't be a win
So he may give up his fight
He has lost all his credability by acting the goat
Funny thing is, he still got your vote
Politicans in Ireland talk a load of shite

I don't like to complain but Bertie should explain
How much pain he has caused for his own gain
You had a responability to this nation
And remember have no notion
Or you would be better off taking a poison potion
Than pushing a posion pen
Politicans in Ireland talk a load of shite

We are a very forgiving Nation,Tolerable one too
So don't be worring Bertie as Mary is doing it too
Her health is not the best, neither is mine
I guess she's filling her pockets with Bertie in mind
Sure Charlie did it for years with no one in mind
So don't be worring Bertie
We all have you on our minds!
Politicans in Ireland talk a load of shite.

'Never Give all the Heart'

'Never Give all the Heart'

Never give all the heart, for love
Will hardly seem worth thinking of
To Passionet women if it seem
That it fades out from kiss to kisss;
For everything that's lovely is
But a brief,dreamy,kind delight.
O never give the heart outright,
For they, for all smooth lips can say,
Have given their hearts up to play.
And who could play it well enough
If deaf and dumb and blind with love?
He that made this knows all the cost,
For he gave all his heart and lost.

'Ould Fellas'

'Ould Fellas'

Ould Fellas are a rare species in Ireland today
They are an icon and that is a fact!
They are History in the making
Wearing their ould caps
Dressed in the same suit
Year after year

They head to the pub for their half pint
Followed by a brandy to warm their hearts up
They Love to tell stories to all the ould chaps

Did you hear the one about?
Ah! will ye stop
This country is a mess and awash with Tv crap
Sure Jasus who wants to know how to make a carmelized stew
Give me a Rabbit or Pheasant
That will do

I can't take anymore of that Dublin crap
Carmelized stew! Ah! How do you make that!
Ah will ye give over or i'll give you a slap
Sure it won't be the first time
You ever did that!
I'l tell you the trouble that stared all that
That smoking ban was the cause of all that
Sure no more can we smoke and have a yarn
And who destroyed that?
Them bloody bastards up in the Dail

Or sure don't be worring
They'll all be going to the wall
Jasus i hope your right,or we'll all be in for a big fall
What are ye having?
One for the road
A brandy and a half
And i'll be going after that
Cheers to the past!
And let this one be my last

God Bless

St. Nazarus.

I Wish

I wish I were on a desert Island
Where no one else could go
I could sit alone,be on my own and where
Wars could not be shown.

In Peace,in stillness and serenity
Where God's creature's could live with me
The birds,the wind,the ocean
And it's many mysteries
To live in peace away from all the unknown

I could fish and maintain my own very
Existences without a soul ever known
They would say that i was running
But God would know that
I would kneel and pray

They say my sisters love me
But i say otherwise
And Pray that one day
We can all kneel and Pray
And ask the Greatest Lord Jesus Christ
And Holy Family above
To forgive us all and allows us all
To kneel and Pray

I do have a good friend with me
That has never let me down
But i will not reveal my friend to you
As now we are on the ground
Kneeling in Prayer
It is said that the good Lord Jesus will
Rise in the East one day
And i ask the good Lord Jesus
To Love us all as one

I say and pray to the good Lord Jesus
That my advise only to him
That if he returned
That some would never
Believe and Run

I do not want to hurt you and please forgive
Them if they run because you are the only
One to have Mercy on all Souls
I Love you dearly you know
Your Mother has suffered greatly
And her heart has being torn apart
From the wicked deeds of everyone
Please allow us to Kneel and Pray
That your Mother Mary
Can forgive us all one day

I will try to help ease
Your Mother's pain
I would wipe away her tears
Her tears that flow like rivers of blood
That we have caused her so
Please forgive us Mother Mary
I am so sorry for your pain
I will kneel down and Pray
I so love you dearly you know
My friend and i are leaving
And we say goodbye
God Bless you Lord Jesus and
Keep you safe in every way

Amen.

About this poem:
It is a Prayer that i wrote while sitting alone.Beside my Log fire.
Candles alight and candles bright. It was a lonely day for me.
I had just received bad health news but now i am ok.
Life sure is very short.I was sick and tired of listening to negative bad news on the tripe of a TV.The noise of the City and the Noise of the Cars.I am i know a very deep person. But the peace that surrounded me that day i will never forget it.
