Hi AL, good profile text, just fairly long and I know that a lot of peeps don't read the profile text at all. I suggest shorting it and taking out something that sounds negative (attracts people that see you as lonely and an easy target), like "Ive been on my own for too long, i dont want to be alone any more."

Well, from my point of view you seem fine. Honest, down to earth. Not all women are into girlie things. I am feminine but I do like outdoorsy stuff, I'll fish but a bit squeamish with gutting so gut I will cook ! Bugs are everywhere no matter where you go, more out in the whoop whoops but a bit of bug repellent will take care of that. I am just saying here, I live in Australia, blue skies, great weather, open spaces, our own bugs and bities of course some big ones of course lol

You're getting boys in their 20's because you look like you're in your 20's and you're pretty. Most men look at the photos and then send an email before taking the time to read our profiles. You can change your settings so that only a certain age group can write to you.

Hi you asked for your profile to be reviewed. I don't find your photos intimidating, but I'm a woman. The guy who said your photos look intimidating is not the guy for you. I thought your profile was very good and expressed who you are. However if you are at the point in your life where you are really ready to move forward. Then I would suggest leaving the details of your past in the past. I would suggest removing the part about the world leaving you broken and battered because it makes it sound like you'll be coming with a lot of baggage. I personally want a man with as little negative baggage as possible, I want someone whole, not someone broken. If you still need time to heal from past life experiences, I would heal your self first before adding someone new to your life. Be positive, confident and show you're moving forward and not backwards. Good luck and I wish you happiness.

I could feel your positive energy flowing through your words but I believe you will get more responses if you spend more time telling us about yourself and your hobbies and leave the preaching to be done in church. You could expand both the self summary and the looking for section, for example what do you call an intelligent conversation, as the definition may vary from person to person.

If there are not many relevant matches on this site you may swap site, maybe one with a higher market share in your region.

The forums can be a good place to meet people instead of simply looking at the profiles, their posts can reveal much more about their way of treating others or their opinions about matters important to you.
