Im divorced live in Ireland still living alone 13 years have 3 kids all grown up left the nest i know what its like to be alone its horrible expecially when im on my own im deaf hard of hearing still can do everything at home cooking washing clothes housework since the covid as still going here on a another lock down for 4 weeks has made matters worse i cant understand ppl with thier masks on as i need to read thier lips etc made life more difficult these days im 53i use dozens of dating sites and no luck dunno why would love to start all over again lifes short these days Ckim85 i read your story i agree with you hope you find happyness in the future i wont and not want woman in ireland theyt all gold diggers my ex was one

I understand.as most of us who have answered your Post. My "2 cents" is that fulfilment comes only when you are whole in and of yourself. Then, your Partner becomes an enhancement as you would be to him. I like to think about it as "two full cake layers with the relationship being the "icing in the middle". I also have needed to realize (for myself) that I must 'trust' my Inner Self" to move me in making the right choice. Relationships must come from and through the Heart. To "take what is offered" is a grave error for it will not fulfill your true desires of what you desire in a Partner. It must be 'right' for BOTH of you as well as for your son.........THEN, it will be a Delight.With No Honesty There's No Trust....think about it.
