well folks i think i have figured out the date.....i know it is a strange one but november 11 is the best i can do.........i am working on a venue in either pickering ajax or whitby......let me know plz and also if anyone has any other ideas

Well as for me that is a not so good date i just checked the calendar and there is a swim meet that weekend but I have to find out first whether or not we will be attending this one even if the club doesn't go I may have to as i am an official but cest la vie i am sure there will be other gatherings I can attend.

I will try to make it again depends on whether or not my son wishes to go and if i have to go as i am moving up levels in the officiating world but thanks for your kind words more to follow once I know.

Hello,

If you want, I can put a sign up box on this thread, to allow people to show interest or "sign up" for this event. This will allow everyone to see who is going and about how many will show up. People who sign up, will be listed at the top of this thread.

Also, when you have all the details figured out - date, time, etc. - then send these details to "Contact Us", and we will send out a mass email to all the Canada members about your event, if you want us to. Since many members don't read the forums, or may miss this thread, this will help get more people to attend.

If you take pictures at the event, and want to post them afterward, then we can set up a separate thread and post your pictures there.

The way we do "sign up" threads, is that we usually change the name of the thread to include the date, location, venue (if known) and any other information we have about this event, (the thread name can be changed later if these details change).

For example: "Ontario Get-together November 11", or we could change it to "Ontario Get-together November 11 - need helpers" or something like that.

So, please give me any details you have and also your preferred thread name.

"Sign up" is up and working. It is only available on the Canada site right now. This feature is not available on the other site yet.
