cruiser68: I always thought "lookin`s" had eyes for any female, JMO
Oh I just think LooK'N is just Looking, so one needs to check out the female tslent .... here and there ... Personally I cant see anything wrong in that ...
I had my eye on one here .. in the end sadly it wasnt to be .. so does mean I cannot seek another ?? ...
scottishjohn: well you crash the group I drove 150km tom meet people and 150km back after in realised id wasted my time so much for a get togethers
Seems like you left a bit early. Must admit, I felt a bit awkward at first as everyone seemed to know everyone, and most didn't look like their pics. Names flying around, I think mine was about the only one I could remember most of the night.
But after the showbag was presented and everyone had a good laugh at the 'goodies' everyone managed to settle in nicely. Even the bouncer that wasn't going to let me in wanted to join in with us.
So mate, just relax, try to get to know the good people here and maybe next time you can enjoy the great company.

Room in town will be my next option. A couple of light beers surrounded by party goers, and then a drive home is not my idea letting it rip.
Maybe next time we should meet in a neutral place (Albury, Port Macquarie, Tweed Heads) so no one has to drive home. Plenty of Clubs will bus people around.
I could even suggest Corowa next March. Annual GP Swim-in & Ex-Military week has been going since 1980 at Corowa. My first time was in 2003 to catch up with friends after I left Sydney, they go every year. No, I am not one of the gung-ho brigade. Although I have since bought an ex-army Land Rover due to severe peer pressure. And have fun with it with a couple of clubs.
They have a week of 'socialising' (very much by some).
And a parade on the Saturday with anything up to 200 vehicles. Oldest we had was a 1917 Alvis that does 23 mph flat out.
Personally, I only go for the socialising
as I would never really catch up with these friends otherwise.
Corowa is very close (10kn) to the Rutherglen wineries and there is usually no problem bagging a ride in an old army vehicle on any outing. Okay guys my suggestion for another CS meet.

Brilliant idea.......keep it alive and we will see what happens...
either one...majority preference....although...I would welcome the opportunity to meet up again in town for a beer, meal and catch up with anyone (male or female of the community)..the Big Smoke is pretty novel for a country boy like myself...
