killarneyman: Lads, do you want to let me know how many of you are definitely coming and will be requiring hotel rooms? I can call up a few of the decent more central ones and see if I can arrange a group deal. The booking will be your responsibility, I will just make the initial inquiries.

I'm not sure if i can go to this one as I am going to a stag in Belgium in October so have to check the dates. I'll find out next week though. I'll definitely go if i can though. I love Cork.

scriobhneoir: The closest would probably be the victoria hotel. Though Imperial is pretty close too. To be honest SOHO is central to most of the hotels in Cork.
try dhr.com for good hotel deals. Way cheaper than booking direct.
skyblue43: Lads could you just clear something up for me. I suggested the Victoria earlier in the thread and the Cork boys told me it was no longer open...
One site I looked at said it was closed due to structural damage. The Isacc seems to be the cheapest at €67 for a double room.
The Victoria is closed down. It has been for a few months now.
Any of the hotels that are in the city center are within walking distance of SoHo, any time I have stayed in Cork (Before I lived here) I stayed in Jury's Inn, which is about 15 min walk away from SoHo, and comes in at around 80 - 100 euro for a Saturday night.
