Creative Dating....

I just want to find out what women really want... I have read tons of woman profiles and they are all common in saying this "I am looking for a man that does not play games or is honest or other realistic things. In my case I know that I have these qualities and much more so but it can be so frustrated that most women on this site are judgemental. I had several women tell that I was not handsome enough and I said oh well..

my blog and the corrupt people of the government

You know what they say. Is that the government always lies. And i dont know about any one else but i believe that, that is true.
Some time s like when I was working with handicapped children most of the parents or the government would just like to put them away like they were nothing. It makes me sick to know what the kids would be cappable of and no one would want to give them the chance to show how wonder ful they were that is my first speil on how the govern ment sux.

Some of My Favorite Authors

I love to read. Some of my favorite authors include Stephen King, Madeleine L'Engle, Anne McCaffrey, Terry Brooks, Terry Pratchett, Robert Jordan and Maya Angelou. I like Sci Fi a lot. The Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan is one of the best sci-fi/fantasy series ever.

Of course, I am also a big Harry Potter fan. I told everyone that I was standing in line at midnight for the last book for my niece, but I am the one who stayed up until 3 am reading it!

I like writing too. I have an idea for a book, but I just have not managed to get started with it.

I write for a website right now. Maybe after I do that for a while I will be able to get the nerve to start my book. Who knows?

Edited to say - thanks to everyone who posted a comment :)

One Poem

In eternal garden,
near the endless flowers,
in last spring.
I see the beautiful girl in sun,
with orange flower in her hair.

an excellent weekend

It's thrilling to be having such an excellent weekend. Yesterday, I met the first of hopefully many new friends from this site. We had a good evening at a local restaurant together. I didn't expect that kind of result for months if I was lucky. You'd think a veteran online shopper like me would take having a living interested person show up in stride. There's just a degree of unreality about reaching out online that make real-world results absolutely magical.

I spent a good chunk of the morning acquiring freshpodcast. One of the deliteful trops of data I slurped down was the third Reif lecture from the BBC. Mr. Sax is an economist who sees a lot of case for hope that humanity will be able to solve the many proglems faced by the world. Being an optimist myself, I'm gettin sadly used to being surrounded by gloom and doom. It positively puts a new spring in my step to hear him utline his reasons or hope, wisdom and insite. Everyone ought to hear this year's Reif lectures. They're a tremendous call to action.

To top it all off, I'm seeing a couple of very good friends tonight for dinner at their house. It's hard to beet good food and good company together after spending so much time alone. This weekend is a phenominal bright spot which has truly brought home the fact that it is indeed possible to start fresh in life. I'll be working with new energy and determination this week. When people make a positive difference, it's only fair that we put whatever effort we can in to making one for others. Living by that philosophy has always stood me in good stead.

morning rain on the rock...

it's about 9 a.m. here on the side of mauna kea. and, it's raining. normally, this normal occurance is just something we all live with. but this morning made it different because instead of fighting for space with my critters, i rolled over to a warm(though temperary) feel of a grown womans warmth. i've been a loner for a long time, and enjoy my own company, but on the occasion of the overnight encounter, i remember that i do miss that first mornings hug. maybe i'll find one that i want to stay one day......

Physically exhausted.

You know, I used to stay up all night playing games, having fun and being Zen. But now I am pulling all nighters to pass a basic college chemistry course. Funny how life turns around on you in the blink of an eye. Next I will be wakening up to a quantum physics final. I can only imagine how tired I will be then, I am soo exhausted. And this is only day 1 for studying for two tests. Cultural geography and Chemistry. I should have took courses that had more in common with each other. Then maybe I would have to pull all nighters.

man i could sure use a brake.moping
