A New Poet

A New Poet

I have noticed that many poets get no comments at all. in most sites there are dedicated greeters that welcome new poets Please remember that you were once new and encourage others. As for the new poet you too should comment on others By doing so you will make new friends and be encouraged And yes even inspired by their works so breathe a little life into this site all it needs is some care and respect for others.

THE FOOL

THE FOOL

I was looking trough the poems on here and I came across one of Gongdo's titled "Love Me" After reading it I sort deconstructed it . I did some restructuring some of Gongdo's wonderful phrases, added some new lines and ended up with "THE FOOL" Finally I'd like to thank Gongdo for his kind permission to make it public and post it here. Heel erg bedankt Gongdo. This one is has a bit of a stumbling rhythm, this is because It is based on the The tarot card of the fool, and he is stumbling along oblivious to danger. I would be interested in your honest opinion of of it.

My Mom always said when my Dad came to the door to see her father for the first time, she took one look at Him and said "He's mine" she was 17 and he was 27 . Theirs was a beautiful love story, he died at 45 in the war and she at 78 still loves Him with her Whole Heart. Maybe that's my problem I can't settle for less. Am ever the romantic and believe in the fairytale.
