Just as I ponder on my thoughts I feel uneasy to comprehend For life itself is a struggle People say only the fittest will survive Am I one of the fittest? Have I been the cause for someone or something to lose the chance To survive in this w
This is the second part I wrote in 1993.
I wrote this 6-1-1998. A slow "dead" drumbeat with bass and easy guitar sound playing, except the solo part(s) I added to this song. But, no matter how good it may sound, you can always change it! lol
Full moon glowing Wind howling Knock, knock Four corners unlock I realized It's the GODS who made me Not the Gods I made Thank you Mommy and Daddy!
Someone once said ‘this game is all in the mind, and the mind is all but a game’ oh yes, twas me, we chase our tails constantly. But there is a way we can be free, don’t take the red, don’t take the blue, just open your mind to what is true.

Put on your top hat, you are the star, the ring master, how long, how far, Let the clowns come in, let the fun begin, see the balancing act, trapeze if you please, sugarcane tastes so good as the magician weaves his spell, will the tightrope walk
The poem is about being stuck in transit and not being allowed to move on. Life paints an illusion that everything is happy and easy and free flowing But is it? Is our lives planned for us? Can we change our journey? Is anyone else trapped? My life for nearly 3 years has been trapped Never gone this long before without breakthrough Coming out of this. Been there before but never this long. Trying to break cycle Not forcefully. Any spiritual readers here? That can read karma? Tell me? Age becomes you ,and life dissipates, it flows like water, like a river from the source starts as a trickle, becomes a stream, then a river, and finally joins the great oceans and now, you are not alone, at last, your lonesome journey has brough
This poem is about heartbreak and trials during tough relationships!
I wrote this one night after watching the movie King Richard! Venus was about to have a big match and Serena was at the court starring at the court her dad walked up to her and told her in so many words that her hard work would pay off in due time!
Is poets corner the place to be?, to lose ourselves in our history? to complain in verse of a life gone wrong?, or sing out loud our favourite song?, let feelings out what's life about?, or whisper quietly, help someone out?, when someone writes abu

It's not literal. Well, it is literal. I just had words that came to my mind, so the coordination may be shaky. Don't be sad. It actually comes from a happy place.

2/18/2020: Beware! There is a troll loose in the the CS poetry section. Reading all the guys profiles, it seems like that they all want a wonder woman who likes to do all the things they like to do (guy things)and she needs to look like a supermodel to boot. Oh well - I must admit we women too fantasize on our perfect man - but if the chemistry is there - I believe the chemistry is what makes the person perfect in OUR eyes. However, people can be false and leer you in with that chemistry and you don't realize it until it's too late.

Once upon a time when you were you and I was I, and nothing grew, and noone knew, when the still was all there was, what oh what could we do? Then we found a way, to release and be, the you and the me, To create something new, hidden in view, ac
A poem about woman's day celebration 2021. It is all about being a woman in the trying times of pandemic. Positive affirmations for emotional healing.
