I just hope that the jobs and prosperity promised by the government if they got a yes vote is not another of their lies. People voted yes because of the state the country is in and were afraid not to. The treaty is not going to do anything for the crisis we are in now. I really hope I am wrong but somehow don't think so.
yes it is true that Ireland gained a lot from joining the e.u. one example is the M50. That was paid for by europe, and we are still paying for it. We must have paid for it 100 times over but still the tolls have to be paid, who is scamming who, the government scamming us. Where did the money come from for the yes vote campaign, from the e.u. No campaign had to find their own A no vote would not put us out of e.u. It was a no to the treaty.
Well we had our chance and but the scaremongers won.
So if you don't know anything about it vote yes if you informed yourself then vote yes and if you are voting no then you are an ignorant moran Am I getting you right here?
Well this uninformed ignorant lazy moran is still voting no.
I work with girls who for different reasons are not bringing up their own children. Mental and physical health are two reasons. Physically they are really ill and have not got the energy to do it. HIV positive and aids are the reason they leave their children with parents or siblings. The life they live is also another reason. They are drug users and a lot of the girls also have to work the streets to fund their habit. Now I know all the arguments about these girls and what a lot of people think of them. It is not my job to judge people or to add to the misery that is going on around them. In some cases they leave their children behind because they can't or won't stop using drugs. Others do it because they genuinely believe that their children are better off being brought up with someone else. Other girls have their children taken off them by social services. I have three children and brought them up on my own so I know how difficult it is rearing kids on your own. I just think that unless we walk in someone's shoes we don't really know what it is like to be them. Life is already difficult enough for them so instead of judging I support them in whatever way I can.
And fat lot of good it will do us marching in protest. Is anyone listening, or too busy setting themselves up in nice jobs. Anyway, I would say it will be a good turn out, lots of people from blanchardstown and finglas heading in
Ah sure the two can be combined. I dont know about other people but I think break for the border is a much better venue. more central, and so much better music. I don't think the younger ones would like bojangles.
Lots of things. It's hard to say because it's the whole package(and not that package)
I know this guy and he is not georgous looking, he is not tall, in fact he is small and he is really thin but I just have to see him walking across the room and I swear to god I have trouble breathing. I don't like loud, crude or someone who does not look after their appearance.
I think it's just difficult for us to get used to this new stage of our lives. you have obviously done a fantastic job and now your children are finding their way. What more could we ask for, happy healthy kids, taking into the world what we spent our youth teaching them. Do you remember in the middle of the madness you wished for some time to yourself I do. I still have a bit to go before the young one heads off. then I am going to rent out my house, and go live somewhere where I don't need coats or boots or umberellas or central heating.
At one stage there was 6 people living in this house, one bathroom, it was bedlam. Noise and people talking in every room. some nights their friends stayed over, jasus. Now it's just me and my youngest. Today she is staying over in her sister's The house is tidy, I am not stressed out fighting with her and it is QUIET.
Even though I am not quite living on my own at the moment I know how you feel. This house was like Picadilly Circus, now it is so quiet and I have to say I miss it. You never got to watch a tv programme because someone would always be coming in telling me this and that about their day, friends, teacher, boy or girlfriend, work, etc
Hobbies and getting out and about are ok but it's not the same is it.
RE: ITS A YES!!
that's the whole point.A yes vote means we have no say in running our country.
there is no getting them out, once we are in we can't come out.
The tiny say that the Irish people had in what goes on here is gone.
