Good thing the temps don't go high where I am, the summers tends to be very humid. 19 C feels warmer than it should. Last couple of weeks, humidity been between 90 to 100%, mostly 100. If it were 35 C here, it would be pretty unpleasant.
I would travel back to my hometown about 100 years ago before lights, roads, and any kind of modern conveniences. I would like to visit for a few days to get a look at life back then.
Believe it or not, you can help others better when you help yourself more. You are in a better state of mind to listen and offer advice. When your own mind is in the gutter, you are more effected by whats being said to you and you can't give good advice thus making you less effective that you would be when your mind is fully charged. That is something I picked up over the years in dealing with my own issues.
I have never went under the knife (yet). So far I been lucky. Apart from my mental health, I never had that many doctor/hospital visits in my life for other stuff.
Dentistry was not as much fun as it is now one time. Surgery wasn't fun either back in the pre sedation days. Need a appendix cut out? You'll watch them do it
As much as you want to help your friends, you have to look after you too. If you are not feeling up to it, maybe the best thing you can do is turn the phone off. Phones got us tethered despite being wireless.
Well I guess if its pulled fast enough, it be done before it hurt. Back in the day, you were given a shot of whiskey instead of a needle and it was usually done with a set of mechanic's pliers.
I can't smoke in the cold air, I coughs my guts up. What some smokers do who want to keep it out of the house is they put a small heated shelter out by the back door, just step in, hit a switch and you have comfort.
