RE: Over 40 guys dating younger women...

Hey dude. Lighten up and get over yourself! Try reading before writing. Boban1 has a good sense of humor and you've missed it. Oh, well. It is what it is.

RE: So he/she dumped you, what is your initiation reaction?

thumbs up cheers

RE: "The day the music died"....

Farrokh Bulsara a.k.a. Freddy Mercury.

In 2006, Time Asia named him as one of the most influential Asian heroes of the past 60 years
In 2005, a poll organised by Blender and MTV2 saw Mercury voted the greatest male singer of all time.
In 2009, a Classic Rock poll saw him voted the greatest rock singer of all time.
In 2008, Rolling Stone ranked him number 18 on their list of the 100 greatest singers of all time.
Allmusic has characterised Mercury as "one of the most dynamic and charismatic frontmen in rock history."

Next would be Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes (Theodore DeReese "Teddy" Pendergrass)

RE: If someone was taken from you by unfairly and everyday you see reminder of it would hold a grudge

oooooopppsss. sorry. guess I hit "return" too many times.

RE: If someone was taken from you by unfairly and everyday you see reminder of it would hold a grudge

Thanks, I went off the thread's subject because I didn't like the comparison that another poster made earlier, where she claims Americans are "Invaders" for the joy of it or somehow puts all the sacrifices made by hundreds of thousands of American women and men in order to free Europe in the same light as the op's argument.

rolling on the floor laughing laugh

RE: Totally useless information

Plausible, but that intoxicated ant thing has got to be bogus....

RE: If someone was taken from you by unfairly and everyday you see reminder of it would hold a grudge

Seems like some of these posters would rather be walking the goose-step and speaking german or some other invading foreign language instead of speaking their own. grateful lots. Maybe we shouldn't have invaded Africa, Sicily, Italy, or France in WWII. Nah, our troops just wanted to give up their lives up for nothing. Incredible loss of American lives for European Freedom and peace and these posters now negatively label "Americans" as "Invaders".

RE: If someone was taken from you by unfairly and everyday you see reminder of it would hold a grudge

American Invaders? rolling on the floor laughing

RE: Is it possible to track your threads?

eh, Benvenuto....

RE: Is it possible to track your threads?

btw: For what it's worth, It was a good thought provoking thread, relative and a positive leap beyond the many prominent "hate" provoking stuff I read on CS. Thanks.

RE: Is it possible to track your threads?

Wow, do you have an auto-primary-photo changing thing going on?

RE: Is it possible to track your threads?

OK, In other words. your general observations thread and subsequent post express views seen to be opposed, maybe subverting, to the culture and development of CS.

RE: Is it possible to track your threads?

Your thread was probably deleted due to its content being anti-ConnectingSingles.
What did you expect?

RE: How important is the physical?

Sarah Palin?

RE: why does everyone want hard workers on here

I hope this concept doesn't apply to us older retired folks!

RE: America's Non-existent Border

Why all the hate man? If Americans felt they were above anyone else why have so many men and women from the USA made the ultimate sacrifices (gave their lives) for something called peace in the word? Our infrastructure isn't built to handle world populations...

RE: How important is the physical?

Uh, oh.... I retired three years ago cause I was brain dead then at 55. Guess that explains everything. Sad to be SOL. confused help

RE: Great movie quotes.

When a divorce lawyer gets married it's the triumph of hope over experience.
-- Love is a Four Letter Word

If the people we love are stolen from us,
The way to have them live on, is to remember them.
Buildings burn, people die, but real love is forever.

RE: How important is the physical?

cheers

RE: How important is the physical?

Gee it was good not to read here that the size of someone's wallet compensates for anything else we might be looking for in someone else....... (or did I miss something?)

RE: who invented the pizza?

The author of this article has some interesting facts but he doesn't list his source(s) for information. "Americans eat approximately 350 slices of pizza per second. And 36 percent are pepperoni". He must only be talking about commercial in-pizzeria pizzas (pizza hut, tommy's, Don whatever, Wallgreens).
I have a hunting buddy who out in the field once claimed to everyone that 350 Geese just flew overhead at the same time. Well, the sky didn't darken so I had to ask him if they stopped long enough for him to get that accurate of a count.

RE: who invented the pizza?

Hm, did Raffaele Esposito come up with the Margherita pizza for Queen Margherita?
It is Not difficult to find good pizza in Naples but it is difficult to find pepperoni pizzas on the menus there, if that's what trips your trigger (not me).

RE: AMERICAN MEN DO IT BETTER

Yes, I used "include" in the inflected form "including". So what is your point?
