1. They may not have the time to do so immediately.
2. Depending on the time zones - who you are messaging and where - remember that some people may even be 8-10 hours ahead/behind you. So when you message, they are sleeping, and have other things to do before they log on.
3. They may simply not be interested in replying, for various reasons: too many messages, or they just don't want to encourage something they are not interested in and won't actually come out and say it so as not to be rude.
4. There may be connection/technical issues
There may be more reasons but I just got busy :)
Maybe...you can give them some time... Those who want to reply.. will ...Don't worry about it too much though. At least you do what you think is right, and as long as it's not bothering the people you are messaging, because if it's annoying they also may not reply .. then feel free:)
