That reminds me, when I was a teenager, I’d buy expensive fishing lures just to lose them in river rocks and weeds
Then, they sold an oil to put on the lure with a scent that was supposed to greatly attract fish... guaranteed! Yet, as soon as the lure hit the water, the oil washed off.
