Went to school deaf at 5 yrs of age.
Got first hearing aid at 6
And next 1 at 7
Even the teachers didn't understand me.
And I left school only meeting 1 handful of understanding people?
The rest just did to me what I could never do to another soul.
Yet I've still got my dignity intact
