It is the backbone of a healthy economy, the steel behind military strength and the engine of freedom in the world. Except in fantasy, there is no substitute. Why do you think the left and other enemies of civilization are so hell bent on eliminating fossil fuels (but only in Western countries... they ignore the countries who are the biggest polluters and enemies of the West). Having the most fossil fuel production means having the most strength. It's no surprise our enemies don't want that to happen. In the 21st century, same as in the last century, fossil fuels = FREEDOM. We must NEVER give in to the forces who want to take that freedom away.
Thanks to President Trump, who is making America great again in so many ways, America has just regained the title of the largest producer of fossil fuel energy sources in the world. We no longer have to kowtow to terrorist regimes and countries that want to destroy us and take away our freedom thanks entirely to President Trump's vision and leadership. We are now a net EXPORTER of fossil fuels. It's far more than just about energy. It's about FREEDOM.

Horizontal drilling tech reduced its cost dramatically in the 90s. So maybe you might want to change your blog to aggrandize Elder Bush or Clinton ?
