For her to just come out and say something like that without reason(assuming you said and did nothing to instigate a change of mind, which I doubt), sounds to me like she's not either one: Not altogether in her right mind, or two: The reality of the situation finally hit her. Long distance commitments are extremely hard on you both emotionally and mentally, and even physically. She might not have known how to handle it after all, and didn't know how to go about it. When people don't know how to express themselves, they default to a bitter approach, it's a defensive measure for self preservation. You met on a dating website, you have to keep your hopes down, and your head on your shoulders, or you're going to end up being very disappointed.
Unless u want to go arround in circles.
I met somebody online who was alot older than me and we became very very good frenz,(no romantic inclination,atleast from my side) but on one cold Christmas day he went to Ireland to visit his mum and some frenz,on the way home from a party his wallet, phone and coat were stolen .......so he walked home....thru the snow!!He told me about it the following day.....and he was really down with fever , cold etc...........he said he would call me on New Year's Eve.........but that day never came......Till today (that was two years ago) I wonder what happened to him.....
