Letting go....

....and trying to get along. While the little family shops (hate it), Bravo and I spent time walking about this tourist town. Meeting folks. A lady was alone in the park, out of season, where in season, hardly a place to sit. She had a sign, and was handing out literature, in support of illegal immigration. Went over to chat with her, but simply listened. The good Lord gave us two ears and one mouth--so we should listen more than talk. She noticed my Azores T shirt, and learned of my interest in dual citizenship. She then said, "lucky for you that you are a White male"."like out terrible president". Of course, she's right, but her anger showed clearly enough. Plum near knocked me over. I said good bye, and we walked on. What a country.
