Another day in paradise

We now have a bit of flirting here on CS. Some is direct and hot/humourous, but often settles down to chats, on Blog topics, or via private CS mail. Nice progression for a free site. Some are here to search for partners, but many just seem to like the socialization/learning.
May now be time to expand the blog topics to everyday things happening in our lives, often small, some large, but all often bringing on thoughtful comments. Actually, several ladies here have done this all along, with good results. Fewer men, to my eyes. Job searches, health/illness in the family, food, travel, gardening and so on.
Today I took a nice 50 Km MC ride, in near 60 degree Maine sun, for a little big box shopping, and the roads were nearly empty. The huge store allowed in only 100 customers, and as one left, a new one entered. But it seemed only about 10% of customers, and fewer staff, had masks on, and even fewer wore gloves. A fair share of home made face protection. There was a noticeable sense of being willing to help others, typical of Mainiacs, but more pronounced, perhaps due to the threat we all feel from the virus. And people seemed much chattier than usual, not a normal custom among folks up North here. Peering into other carts, it looked like the emphasis was on staples. Survival mode? But no shortage of alcohol. A healthy part of the country, so far there have been only two documented treated cases of the virus. Neither was very old. One was a nurse. Both did well. Hmmmmm.
