Sanford & Son: Fred predicted the Covid-19 Coronavirus mask craze

Not really a 'craze'. More that it's fashionable and polite to keep your snot and mucous to yourself rather than spreading it round anyone in the vicinity because you never know, it might have passengers. dunno

Despite my profile pic, I don't wear one all the time. I absolutely dislike the things, hot, uncomfortable, they affect my breathing and look slightly ridiculous. However, since Covid-19 would affect my breathing dramatically and probably terminally, I wear one if I'm going anywhere there may be other people I can't avoid. You never know. I don't want to find out the hard way. dunno

I don't understand why it is seen as such a big deal with you guys. It's a courtesy and a safeguard, and if your man put one on to be both courteous and safe, it could even save lives among his followers, especially the older ones who could finally follow his lead without getting bullied. Maybe, who knows, get him a little grudging respect from his critics for behaving responsibly and sending the message "we can reduce the infection rate and save our economy and this is one of the ways we're going to do it"
