A question of religion kind of
I've been told the only thing you can take when you die are your memories.Where does that information get stored? What if your lost your memory due to illness? It is really strange that your memory would go with you when you die stored in some imaginary place? If information is stored on your brain and your emotions are triggered by chemicals in your body, then when you die I wonder if you set to some emotionless non-thinking state so you have no concept of time or memory that you were there before. Probably not, it doesn't fit the nice neat concept a person might want.

To each his own
But in reality... you die and your soul goes to another place . You do not stay in the body... You are not taken straigt to heaven just in a holding place tell the end..... and then again, is death the end........something to think about....
i tend to see in a scientific way. when your brain is dead, all functions of the brain stop.
i dont think anyone has the right to say what happens after, but emotions orginate in the brain, as does the awareness of the passage of time. so id would speculate all that goes away.
