Knowing yourself means understanding your strengths and weaknesses, your passions and fears, your desires and dreams. It means being aware of your eccentricities and idiosyncrasies, your likes and dislikes, and your tolerances and limitations. Knowing yourself means knowing your purpose in life.

How well-fixed are you with your own morality?
What are your biggest fears?
Your self-limiting beliefs?
Your relationship with money and wealth?
Your human relationships with friends, family?
Role gratitude plays in your life?
What you think you can do as a human?

What is that something you always love doing, even when you are tired or rushed? Why?
What lifts up your joy?
What you think is possible for you?

Really knowing yourself is a worthy aim and an important step is to be clear on what really knowing yourself means before putting effort into it.

Knowing oneself is the first step towards making good rapport not only with one’s own mind and body but also with the other. This other can be husband, wife, mother, father, brother or anyone.

Once we have understood how our mind functions, and as we witness the rise and fall of emotions in mind, we are better equipped not to get carried away with these waves of mind. Life gives us situations, not solutions.

Solutions are always created by our wisdom. In most of the relationships we see around, the basic problem remains the same.

However, zero plus zero will remain zero. You have to know this truth: nothing, neither people nor things, can make you rich; nobody can give meaning to your life. So, stop hankering for appreciation, sympathy or love from others..
