When you are able to control your tongue, it shows you have matured spiritually. Misuse of the tongue can lead to destruction, sometimes without even realizing it. Learn to let go of unwholesome chats and let only beneficial things come out of your mouth. If you are not able to guard your tongue you are going to be in trouble here and hereafter.
Your tongue can save you and lead you to heaven, it could also create enemies in life and lead you to hell. Therefore you should learn to control your tongue.

I control my tongue with regards to CS.
I never argue with a fool.
I don't talk, as I type all my words.
I don't kiss and tell, as I've never met anyone from CS.
So my tongue is very much controlled.
