Why show yourself??????

i personally dont think a pic is important.....and to be honest, when i first started here, didnt have a pic....and i found the love my life here, and he feel in love with me, didnt need a pic.....and i loved that, meant alot to me....he loved me for me....without even seeing me....but also believe, each their own, pic or no pic.....preference...shouldnt matter as long as you are comfortable...

mmmmmm - I don't know. If a person is looking for a romantic partner, the determining factor is going to be physical attraction. Otherwise it will remain a friendship.

If a person doesn't see you (and especially if a man is viewing a woman's profile), more often than not they may pass it up.

It is silly to put a pic up that doesn't represent you. Once the person sees you, if you are not as physically attractive as your fake pic, they probably won't ask for a second date, don't you think? Not to mention, the lying part of it would be a turnoff to a healthy-minded individual.

Of course, if your pic is nice, you are going to get lots of responses from people you would never consider dating. (unless your pic is fake, in which case, you might take whatever you can get, hence the reason for the fake pic in the first place).

It's not any better to be liked for just being attractive.

it will be your first choice, u want the man will find you out or you will look for a man by yourself using search tool, without photo as per cs website's advice, u may miss 50% of chance of finding out your soul-mate if u also like to look for s.o here.

I got news for you. Men shop for a mate with their eyes first.
Then, if you pass that test, stage 2 is to get to know you.
If you post no picture, you are essentially romanticly dead in the water.
If you post a false or old picture, there will be no second date.
