Are good deeds dead and gone?
Is helping thy neighbor or doing a good deed a thing of the past? Just wondering because I don't see to much of it anymore. Is it due to the economy and having to work longer hours and having no time? Is it out of fear that we no longer allow others to help us out when needed? or is it really that we as people no longer care for others needs? I remember aproaching a elderly couple at the grocery store loading their groceries into there trunk while I had just finished loading my own into my trunk and asked if they would like some help since it looked to me like they were having some trouble lifting there gorceries out of there cart when the man and his wife replied no we're alright with a sound of fear in their voice then later turned to me and said thank-you for the offer though. Later I over heard the man say to his wife as he closed the trunk that you don't hear someone offer their help like that anymore. I just wonder is good deeds a thing of the past?

In such the hectic world we live, ppl do not stop,,
It seems that basic manners have been forgotten
The world I live in pple cross the road to say they say when I enter a shop, they come when I need and I to are there for them
It seems i am lucky to live in such a world
Now that I live in a tiny Southern community it is very different. People do care and are very helpful. Very nice but sometimes can be stifling.
may be after reading these few linesu would say sthn I m expecting, but here is it :
wether people belive it or not;deathe is a proof of an ending of ur deeds and automatically rewrds.there is a reason for the creation.
actual life is going harsher coz its coming to its end.
good deeds will never disappear as long as good people are there until the jugement day. by the prophet mohamed(PBUH)
I adore You being that kind of personality..bec, there were not too many people now a days that offer help in an instant...But helping others/doing good deeds never be in the past....I do that too!!doing some volunteering jobs as an "OMBUDSMAN"-looking for the elderly in Nursing Homes if they were taking cared for..bec my job is caring for the elderly in Private homes, and Nursing Homes...i am always eager to help someone when in need...Don't get hurt for that couples reaction, cuz that was normal...Those old couple showed that they can take care of themselves(it's about their independence, plus thier ego)...I understands, and you're kind of disappointed when they turned you down...But keep that good quality bec. it's very rare to find nowadays...You must have a good heart my friend!!!
